Description
Enjoy primitive camping in the peace and quiet of a no-car zone. The Mt. Greylock State Reservation Campground is reached by way of 1.3 mile hike. It is set in the middle of Massachusett's first state park, established in 1898. The summit provides a panoramic view of five states. Be sure to bring your own water, as there is none available at the simple camping sites. The nearest phone is also several miles away. Reservations are required, but well worth it at this unique site. Compost toilet only, no showers.
