Description
Colleton State Park is located near I-95 along the Edisto, one of the longest blackwater rivers in the country, and an officially designated canoe and kayak trail. The park's easy access to the Edisto, along with the Cypress Swamp Nature Trail, picnic area, and ballfield make the park an ideal destination for both veteran (dog) paddlers and young families. The campground has 25 sites with water and electic available for $14/night. Each site is packed sand can accododate rigs up to 25 feet, while select sites can accomodate 40-foot rigs. Restrooms with hot showers are also available.
