Description
Davenport Campground was reportedly the very first Forest Service Campground. In 2009, construction was finished that restored the campground to its original 1920's design. The campground is for tent campers only, and some of the sites have adirondack shelters and fireplaces much like the original design. There is also a group picninc shelter with 4 fireplaces in the middle of the campground.
