We have stayed here twice before (2018 and 2019) and liked it. This time, not so much. And yes, I know there has been a pandemic in the last year and a half. The 2 ⭐s I gave are for still being open. The park has not been maintained. Many dead trees, overgrown, no working WiFi, and... the biggest problem....IF YOU HAVE DOGS: CAUTION!! Our site was completely full of foxtail (which can be deadly to dogs), as was their dog park area. It is 106゚right now and unsafe to walk the dogs (if I can't stand barefooted without burning my feet neither can my dogs) even on the mostly dirt roads. Obviously they have no control over the heat, however they do over their property, or should. There is shade in the dog park, but it is covered in foxtail so we can't use it. On the plus side, our hookups work and they do offer food delivery to your site. We got two 8" pizzas and they were okay. The bath house facilities are adequate, but old. There were only 3 small shower stalls in the bathouse near our site but the building was clean and air conditioned. If the other bathouse in the front is as small, the facilities are not sufficient for the size of the park. All-in-all, pretty awful. We won't be returning. ETA: The owner saw fit to mock our Google review. We live in the high desert of Arizona and are very familiar with drought conditions. That said, we maintain an area for our dogs to safely be in. It is bigger than the space this campground needs to maintain for the safety of their guest's pets. If our dogs had had any safe place to poop that wasn't the middle of a road we would have given them 5 stars.
