Clean room with prvt. patio; incredible view that made up for shortcomings. No breakfast. Was questioned about dog every time we went to eat. Staff nice but didn't seem to know pet rules. Also very noisy.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Gouldings Lodge! The lodge is in a great location for viewing and visiting beautiful Monument Valley. We stayed in Villa 440 and had a lovely view of Monument Valley from our deck, which we enjoyed with our Corgi, Frankie. Our only disappointment was the restaurant. We had called to ask if they did takeout so we could eat our dinner on our deck with Frankie and they said they did. However, when we called back later to put in our order, they said they weren't taking takeout orders for the rest of the evening! Wish they had warned us about that. Fortunately we had some leftovers from the previous evening to eat for our dinner.

The room was solidly good with a balcony our pup could sit out on. The fact that it was a first floor room was a great bonus. Good walking area, not huge but ok. Views were amazing. It was an excellent choice to stay here given the proximity to Monument Valley and the dog friendly aspect. We would definitely stay here again.

Well appointed very clean room, trails and walking areas for "Fido" nearby. The on-property restaurant food was good (a little on the expensive side but to be expected given the remote location). One small downside was the shower; I'm not sure why some motels have showerheads mounted at nose level.

Our suite at Goulding’s was spacious and well-appointed! the view of Monument Valley and the mountain it is ‘tucked against’ are breathtaking. Plenty of room for walking my furry boys on spotlessly clean grounds. We got a terrific takeout breakfast that made our stay perfect. The history of the site is fascinating to experience!

We stayed down the hill from the main hotel in cabin style rooms but are really just manufactured homes. They are new and very quiet and comfortable. There are walking paths nearby and a dog convenience area. A short walk will take you to a place where you can see a beautiful sunrise.

We stayed at the new "Villas" at Goulding's. They are two bedroom modern cottages and have a full size refrigerator and kitchenette. You have a deck to sit on too. There are ample areas for you pup to take care of business. These cottages have great views of the sunrises over Monument Valley. You may read some negative reviews based on staying at the old Goulding's up the hill from these.

Efficient staff. Room was fine. Ground floor with easy access for Fido. Adequate pet area. Only food or drink must be purchased there so bring your own.

Beautiful views and friendly staff. Be aware they will not automatically refund your deposit: they claim it takes several business days but it’s been almost two weeks and I’m still waiting. I’m wondering if they plan to keep deposits from all pet owners by default.

The room was quite small but very clean. The biggest issue is not very good soundproofing between rooms and loud noise of plumbing, etc. It was good for our purposes but also not a lot of places to walk our dog during our brief visit.

Staff very helpful when our reservation seemed to have been cancelled. Not sure why or what happened. The place was clean and spacious for us and two Airedale terriers.

We only stayed on night, and the room had a fenced patio. It was a great place to bring my dog and get take out at their restaurant.

We only had one issue with this hotel. Luckily my dog is small so we could carry him. They put us on the second floor and the stairs are open grating. No dog is going to walk on it. Other than that it was a great room.

What a gorgeous place, surrounded by red rock monuments and watching the sun rise and set beyond them. Very convenient place to stay. Goulding's has a gas station, convenience store, and restaurant close by, comfy room with great bed, would stay here again!!

We had been there 9 years ago and loved it. Now it's even better. The new units are great for the pups, and lots of areas to walk with them.

The staff were all fine, we ate at the restaurant ad meal was fine, the room super outdated but big and clean. There was a great little trail you could take the dogs off leash in to see the monuments. You wouldn't choose to stay here for a long period but it was perfectly fine for a night so we could be in the valley.

My husband and I were traveling with our 4 year old German Shepherd, Brodie Girl. After looking at pics on BringFido I had decided to call the lodge to make sure we could get a first floor room. The girl I spoke with told me of a special they were running buy one night get one free! ( Traveled November 19, 2020) So we stayed there two nights! Rooms were spacious with a great iron fence enclosed patio so that we could sit outside watching the sun go up or down with our dog secure and not having to be on a leash! The landscape in this area is breathtaking! The grounds were clean and employees very friendly ! We ate at the restaurant and it was delicious! It hasn’t even been a year since we were there and we are ready to go back! Down the road from the lodge is a enclosed dog park that we were able to bring Brodie to so she could get her “frisbee” time in ! The gift shop was nice too! Nothing bad to say about this place! Five Bones all the way! Can’t wait to go again!
