True West Campground

Big South Fork Tennessee is considered the trail riding capital of the Southeast and True West Campground is considered the premiere horse campground in Big South Fork. True West Campground is centrally located in Big South Fork with easy access to 10 trails providing nearly 300 miles of riding pleasure. Guided trail rides can be arranged. Our facilities include 34 easy access, level RV and camping sites with water and 30-amp electric. There are sewer hookups in 9 of the sites. Our large clean barns have 67 bedded stalls and covered saddle racks. We have 2 well appointed shower houses with heat and A/C, a horse wash area, large round corral, and 2 stocked fishing ponds. Our mercantile has all kinds of camping supplies, horse tack, gifts, snacks, ice, firewood, maps, and Western wear. There is a large covered deck for gathering and we hold special events monthly. For those who use it, there is a WIFI hot spot on the covered deck.
