More about the great Atlantic City!
Atlantic City is the center of entertainment and always has an impressive lineup of year-round (and often free) events and festivals to keep you coming back time and time again. The annual AC Restaurant Week, Atlantic City Airshow, LPGA Shoprite Classic, the AC Marathon Race Series, concerts and performing arts in Atlantic City provide days of endless entertainment. This action-packed city on the Jersey shore fits your taste for good times no matter when you choose to visit. You can indulge in a luxurious spa treatment, walk the world-famous Boardwalk and check out the action-packed nightlife all in a single day without scratching the surface of things to do in New Jersey’s entertainment capital. There’s plenty of family-friendly fun suitable for both children and adults.
Atlantic City has always been about entertainment, but in recent years, the city has become a must-stop location for popular Jersey shore events such as top musical acts in concert, championship boxing matches, celebrity sightings, family-friendly Boardwalk Hall events, and more. Whether you’re traveling to AC for vacation, a sporting event or a conference or meeting, you’ll find a full calendar of Jersey shore events, with a variety of Boardwalk Hall events and Atlantic City attractions to choose from throughout the year.
Best known for its casinos, beach, boardwalk, and nightlife, Atlantic City has been a vacation hotspot for over a century. The area promises fun and thrills for all and features attractions for visitors of all ages. Start your trip to Atlantic City with a walk along the city's famous boardwalk, which features no less than four miles of games, shops, and restaurants. Snack on some homemade Atlantic City taffy, and stop at Steel Pier for some of the boardwalk's most daring rides. Other attractions at the pier include the Atlantic City Art Center, the Atlantic Historical Museum, and the historic Boardwalk Plaza. Most Atlantic City casinos are about much more than gambling. Caesar's Atlantic City, for instance, boasts more than 2,000 slot machines, along with hundreds of table games, the high-end Playground shopping center, and shows that feature top musical and theatrical performers every night.
Another popular attraction not to be missed is Absecon Lighthouse. Located on the north end of the city, it has over 200 steps and is the tallest lighthouse in the state.
It might seem like the party never stops in Atlantic City, thanks to countless dance clubs, nightclubs, and lounges that stay open until the early morning hours. One of the city's top nightclubs, mur.mur at the Borgata Hotel, Casino, and Spa hosts world-renowned DJs and has one of the city's most in-demand dance floors.
