This hotel was perfect for us and our large and small dogs. The king room had plenty of room for everyone, the staff was friendly, and we all slept great. Being able to walk to restaurants and Target was also great so we didn’t have to load up the car with everyone before we left. We stopped at the Bark du Lac dog park too which wasn’t far away.

Just passed through Lake Charles on a long trip. Hotel is just off the highway and in the same lot as a Cracker Barrel, which is a welcome reliable late-ish food option for us on long trips. Requested a ground floor room ahead of time, which we received, making it easy to get the pooches in and out. Room was clean, breakfast decent, staff wonderful. Big clean grassy area behind the hotel for walking. Not the cheapest, but traveling with three big dogs, we have to be flexible.

The room was nice, but not a lot of area to take dog to the bathroom. Also, close to busy street. Front desk staff were not very friendly, but valet guy was very nice. Good stop for 1 night, but not convenient for more.

We liked the high ceiling in our room on the 1st floor. The room was very pretty and felt fairly newly renovated. (Finny, the toilet was a little too close to the door, but it did shut, just barely.) The heater made a rattling noise when put at a lower setting, upon checking out I mentioned this issue to the front desk person who seemed very responsive. There are lots of restaurants and shopping nearby, which is nice, but the road in front of the hotel was busy, and Hwy 10 is on the other side. My suggestion is to ask for an odd numbered room closest to the busy road rather than the Hwy for noise reasons. There is a lovely park about 7 miles from this hotel that I took our pooches to. Overall we had a nice stay.

We had a pleasant stay. Truly dog friendly. Enjoyed the pool and easy on and off the highway with lots of food choices in the area.

The hotel staff were very accommodating and friendly. In fact everyone we encountered in Lake Charles were very nice.

The front desk ladies were very nice. The room was ok but the remote for TV wouldn't work and the people in the room over us sounded like they were bowling and or doing jumping jacks. Our AC rattled all night. In their defense, we did not bring any of these issues to their attention.
