      A V O I D !!!!

      Made a reservation for my wife and our eldest dog. I contacted Inn directly to confirm. Eldest dog recovering from stay at vet, required rest and no excitement. Decided to stay at Economy Inn to avoid noise and congestion around home during the July 4th holiday. Reserved room had A/C off and room was well over 90 degrees, we left to allow room to cool. We returned unloaded luggage and I left, wife laid down for a nap. When she awoke room was flooded. She ran to office to notify them. Receptionist ran to adjoining room, never looking at my wife's room. Somehow she seemed to be aware of preexisting condition. She reassigned my wife another room. No offer to assist my wife in moving was given, nor was any apology or any sort of consideration given for my wife's and our recovering pet's inconvenience. A/C was off in second room as well and again room well over 90 degrees. Wife and our dog stayed in car while room cooled. Management rude, at one point my wife asked for no housekeeping to avoid further exciting the dog. Manager insisted that housekeeping would have to clean room following day and that my wife and dog would have to leave room while housekeeping was in her room. Temp outside was 95 degrees, Manager suggested she take our recovering dog for a walk or stay in car (no shade on property) during that time. This after we had explained SEVERAL times our reason for staying with them (Recovering dog needing rest and stable heart rate). This is not a dog friendly or for that matter a people friendly hotel!
