  Nice Stay

  Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Recommended an excellent restaurant - Luigi’s - with a large covered outdoor dining area. The rooms have a kitchenette (but not a dining table and only one chair). Daily cleaning service is not provided. The property is very clean and there is a large field where dog walking can occur. The hotel is several miles from the I-95 exits for Fayetteville.

  Very clean for all!

  We never before stayed at a Candlewood property. It was very clean and efficient. Our two yorkies were well behaved and seemed quite comfortable. The only bed size is QUEEN. Should have requested 2 queens as it was a bit tight with all four in one bed🤣🤣 My fault. Linens and towels were nice. Unfortunately, we didn’t realize there is no breakfast whatsoever!!! Coffee was so so. Priced around $166/night plus $25 min refundable for up to 2 pets.

  Very Clean Property

  The hotel staff was very compassionate. I arrived in a frenzy not realizing I was traveling far off of I-95. The hotel was clean. No breakfast. I felt uncomfortable I had to leave a $100 incidental cost to cover the $25 dollar pet fee plus taxes. I hope I get back.

  This was a great place to stay when traveling with your dog. The staff was very attentive and friendly. The rooms were a good value, nice and very clean. It’s convenient having a nice kitchenette in the room. Could not ask for more.

  Perfect for overnight with dog

  This was a great option as we could leave the dog in the room while we went to grab food. There is a section of pet-friendly rooms and we had no issues - even a back entrance to avoid entrance via the lobby. It was also nice to have a kitchen for the night to clean up some of our road trip dishes etc.

  Clean, convenient hotel

  Hotel conditions and location were great. Only hiccup was when we were given our keys to our room, it was not ready at 5pm was in the process of still being cleaned. We had to wait in our car for another 20 minutes after getting our keys with our dogs waiting for our room.

  Great option for pet travel

  This is a great option for us traveling with our senior cat. Our 3 night stay was perfect. Appreciated the cleanliness, the kitchenette having everything we needed and the laundry!

  Nice place, friendly staff

  We are driving from Cape Cod to Sarasota and one of our stops was in Fayetteville. This Candlewood Suites was a perfect stopping place and was comfy and convenient for both us and the pooch. The staff were friendly and helpful and there are a variety of restaurants nearby.

  Clean and comfortable

  Hotel was approximately 10 miles off I-95, but was clean, updated, and comfortable. Plenty of open fields around the parking lot to walk your dog(s), but watch out for curious foxes/coyotes, which I observed in the nearby field when checking in around 9:00 pm.

  Perfect road trip stop

  This hotel is really clean and accommodating to pets. No complaints at all. Felt safe, nice staff, updated rooms, nice beds. Five bones!

  I arrived at this hotel coming out of hurricane Ian and the staff was very nice and accommodating. Rooms are nice, bed was super comfy. This will continue to be one of my go to chains!

  This hotel was very clean and comfortable. I will definitely stay in this place again. The only flaw was the distance from I-95 but everything else was perfect.

  Very clean and pup friendly!

  We have stayed at Candlewood Suites three times on our way to/from Florida. Definitely our go-to for a clean, dog-friendly hotel. We seem to always arrive very late and the sweet lady at the front desk is always so kind and helpful. Our Goldendoodle loves it too! Highly recommend (and I’m a picky hotel guest)!

  Very friendly Front Desk personnel. Amanda night manager called me to inform me of small mishap with and corrected the very next day. The other day manager (I apologize) I can't recall her name also amazing and friendly. Rooms super clean comfy bed and with fully equipped kitchennette. nThe hotel is less than a minute ride to Crackle Barrel, hook n reel, Walmart etc, accessible on Skibo Rd. Pet friendly absolutely. There were other fur parents there. Looking forward to going back.

  Dreadful!

  8 months traveling over the US, 10,000 miles and this place wins the WORST stay!

  Our room was lovely and the staff was pleasant and friendly enough BUT, the walls are paper thin!!

  We weren’t in our room 10 minutes and we received a nasty, screaming room call that was apparently from the guest beneath us!
  mind you, all we had done at that point was bring in our luggage and our two Corgis!

  As we settled in, two more calls from the room beneath us!
  it was only 6 pm and we had done nothing but normal walking about our room!
  After the 3rd call where the agitated gentleman. below referred to me as a “stupid b*tch”, my husband called the front desk to make them aware of the problem.

  We had a long day of traveling and we’re ready for bed by 8

  The upside is this place takes big dogs and multiple dogs. I stayed 2 nights. I rarely ever heard barking and when I did it was when I was walking down the hall. Not in my room or in the night. The down side is its about 5 miles from the highway. The room had no curtains to block out the light. the door to my room was extremely heavy to open. The toilet tank in the bathroom kept refilling every hour or so - must have had a slow leak. And I could hear the person upstairs stomping around....even with my white noise machine on - but that's not really the hotel's fault. Needs better insulation or something. The manner in which I was charged was very confusing, leading me to think I had been charged twice. The first night I was charged by BringFido. And then the hotel only charged the pet fee. The second night I was charged by the hotel, which seemed to charge me twice but I think the first one was only an authorization which will fall off and the second charge will go through. I don't like this method. I had to spend a lot of time scrolling through my credit card bill to make sure I wasn't over charged. Maybe this is how they all do it. But I don't stay at hotels very often so I am not sure. It looked clean but I didn't look too closely because I didn't want to know.

  Candlewood Suites Treats Your Dogs like VIPS

  Cannot say enough great things about this hotel and its employees. Not only did they place us in a beautiful room but the front desk staff was wonderful and treated our two border collies as if they were VIPs. Additionally, there was a great outdoor area to walk and run the dogs. After a long drive the dogs were very thankful. If you want a dog friendly, people friendly hotel for your stay in Fayetteville you will not be disappointed!!

  Amazing staff!!!

  Close to everything, room was clean and had everything you would need. Told staff before I left for work that the refrigerator wasn't cooling, by the time I came by for lunch to walk our dog it was fixed. Each employee always greeted with a smile and helped in every way they can. Would definitely stay again. Only downfall I would say is it's a little pricey to not offer breakfast.

  It was better than most of the dog friendly hotels that I have stayed at so I am thankful for being turned on to FIDO. They didn't have a good "yard" to walk the dog or anything special for pets - the parking lot has some grass and bushes - BUT - it was nice and clean and the rooms were big!

  Worth the fee

  $25.00 fee, but the room was a mini suite, comfortable and clean. You're looking for a place to go with your dog, right? This is one of the few in the IHG chain that takes them. We could walk her through the lobby any time, there was ample potty spaces, clean up bags, etc. No breakfast, but if you're staying for a time there is a stocked kitchenette and a grocery nearby. Staff was lovely. Enjoy!

  Friendly staff, comfortable suites but no free breakfaast

  We booked through BringFido and the pet fee was only $25 for a very large dog. The staff was pleasant and we felt our dog was welcome. Many suites hotels in this price range provide free breakfast which this one does not; that's the only reason I give it 4 stars not 5. Also be aware you cannot walk your dog on the large grassy area across the parking lot. It is part of a golf course. You really can only walk your dog right around the hotel, in their landscaping. However there's a nice dog park not too far away, Riverside Dog Park.
