  The neighborhood behind the hotel is a wonderful bonus after a long day in the car. Great for walking my pups. Hotel room was nice. However, if you are in a room facing the highway be prepared for the roar of cars for most of the night.

  Noisy, needs improvement

  Room heat/ac very loud. Room did not smell pleasant. Even dogs were sneezing. Probably wont ever stay again.

  I really count on BringFido to help me find a place to stop on our trips while traveling with our two big dogs. The hotel was clean and well appointed. And they did have biscuits and dog bags at the front desk.

  Good stop on trip

  It was a very nice pet friendly stop on a trip from Florida to the Northeast. The room was comfortable and the staff was personable. Clean facility. The only nitpick was the breakfast offerings were heavily picked over by 8:15am or so, and the breakfast went to 9am. The hotel was not full and there were no doubt a lot of early risers, but they could have better replenished the offerings for the final shift of guests. Would certainly stay there again.

  Great stop!

  Stopped here on a road trip with no reservation. Front desk staff could not have been nicer or more welcoming. Stayed in a suite on first floor to the rear of building. Worthwhile to have the extra space as we had pizza delivered and ate in. All was very clean inside as well as outside. Surrounding area is residential and a great place to take the pup for a longer walk. We felt very safe. The hotel is right next to I81 and you do hear road noise. Request a room at rear of the hotel.

  Great pet friendly hotel

  I’m a traveling healthcare worker and have been staying here for the past 4 weeks with 7 to go. This hotel is clean mostly updated there are a few still with tubs as opposed to ones with walk in showers which I prefer. I actually prefer the Highway side of the hotel the noise doesn’t bother me at all. But I also put a Bluetooth speaker but the door and play ocean sounds so the dogs aren’t barking every time they hear something. The lack of a designated space for the dogs don’t bother me there is office park across the street with plenty of walking area. My dogs love it over there.

  My dogs are emotional support dogs and unfortunately not considered as a service dog so there is a charge but it still cheaper than putting them in a kennel. The staff members that I have interacted with are very friendly and the breakfast is plentiful. Also plenty of places to eat and do close by.

  Great location

  Easy access from I-81. Lots of shopping and restaurants in the area. Desk clerk was super friendly. Usual hotel breakfast. All king rooms face the highway. Noise was not much of a problem. Room was cleanish. Dog walking area was limited but adequate. Affordability was great. We would stay there again.

  Friendly staff, clean room, free breakfast. We had an even numbered room and do notice now that others suggested that an odd numbered room would have dampened the highway noise. For us, that just kept up quite late.

  Dog pick-up stations stocked and located around the property. Exterior doors easily accessible with room key (more convenient than some properties that require entry through main lobby).

  Improved

  Last time I stayed here, it was clear that they were in need of renovations and updating and the tattered elements in the room that I used with my dogs. This time, the room was clean and updated but it was clear to me that they were minimally supplying all of the usual Items offered to guests in any room. For example, one bar of soap in a room for two people?! Very minimal supplies. Coffee provided in the room was yuck! Additionally, you can walk the dog in the neighborhood behind the motel but there’s really no place around the place itself for you to relieve your dog and give them some exercise. People with large— and younger dogs— need to know that! Breakfast was the usual waffles, pancakes, and minimal bread offerings with cereal and the basic juices. Not any worse than you would expect in any other hotel that provides breakfast these days.

  Very Clean and New!

  Literally right off 81. It is a tad noisy for traffic, but it dies off later in the evening. Request an odd numbered room to avoid this, as the even numbered rooms are facing the freeway. We had a room that faced 81, but it was fine as the traffic noise really subsides as the evening progresses.

  The hotel was adequate but nothing special. I will say all the employees were very nice and the main area of the hotel was fine. I felt like the rooms weren’t cleaned very well. There was hair in the shower and the corners of the shower where dirty. There was no “designated pet area” but if you walked off the property there were areas you could use.

  Very nice hotel and nice rooms. Hotel seems fairly new. This is the nicest pet friendly place we've stayed at. Great location, right off I81, with numerous restaurants very close by. Not much space for the dogs outside, but enough to get the job done. Will stay here again next trip through.

  Great room, great staff

  So why only 4 bones? Because there was only a small grassy strip for our dog, and the highway noise was a tad intense even with the AC fan on low all night. I will stay here again, as the hotel was awesome. But if you have a large dog, the grass is a bit tiny.

  Super easy and no sweat

  Dogs are no big deal to these folks. Nice grassy areas outside, first and second floor rooms. Right off the highway, super nice rooms which I would recommend to anyone traveling PERIOD, but doubly nice if you have a hard time finding a decent doggie friendly hotel. We liked it so much we stayed over on our way to vacation, and on our way back as well! $20 for your doggie.

  La Quinta has been bought up by Wyndham Hotels, and is apparently in the process of updating the entire chain. This one had few "warts", was clean and indeed modernized, and a comfortable, dog friendly stay in PA. Although a bit tricky to get to, it is close by a large mall with major stores and restaurants. And it wasn't overly expensive! This one comes recommended!!!!

  GREAT stop on our road trip. CLEAN, MODERN, ROOMY and perfect LOCATION. Super pet friendly and the shower was a welcome treat after a long day's drive. And, there’s a PETSMART and plenty grocery/shopping/dining off the exit. Will definitely stay here again! Two thumbs up👍🏻👍🏻

  Wonderful room

  The room was wonderful. Lobby and breakfast was also very nice. There is not a lot of green space on Property but they have doggy bags at both back dogs. There is a lot of dog feces in the grass but that’s not the hotel’s error but other dog owners not picking up after their dog. As others have mentioned…. There are sidewalks leading behind the hotel. I didn’t use them in the dark but it was a wonderful walk for the morning and much cleaner. Will definitely stay there again!

  I have stayed at this La Quinta several times. The best thing is the location, right off 81 and all the stores and restaurants are right behind the hotel. Always clean and plenty of areas to walk my dog.

  Great facility

  We don't require many services for our cavapoo but the facility was convenient to get to, the rooms were clean and well-supplied, the doggie areas were adequate and Ollie slept like a puppy!

  Very clean, friendly staff, comfortable beds. Only con is not a large space for 2 yellow labs to do their business without being in someones backyard.

  I chose this hotel on the last leg of my journey and it is one that I would stay at again. The hotel was very clean and the bed and pillows very comfortable. My only problem was that I wished they had a designated place for dogs to do their business, but it is in a residential area so I took my dog for a short walk . Great place?

  Pleasant Stay

  Would definitely recommend. Right off 81. Very friendly staff, clean room , nice lobby. There is also a nice little neighborhood behind the property with sidewalks for dog walks. Hot morning breakfast also seemed a cut above.

  Stayed here April 2018. Two dogs. Great place, clean, comfortable room. Free breakfast was the usual for this level of hotel - eggs, meat, waffles; good. Walking area for dogs was limited, but nearby office complex had plenty of area for walking them safely. Nearby public park didn’t allow dogs, but found a trail at a school that worked. Would definitely stay here again.
