    Harmony Ridge Lodge welcomes two dogs of any size in designated rooms for an additional fee of $25 per pet, per night. Dogs may not be left in the room unattended.     Announcing Harmony Ridge Lodge, a pleasing combination of Nature's best and inspired human design. Rediscover nature's harmony at the South Yuba River and Tahoe National Forest. Harmony Ridge Lodge is located 160 miles from San Francisco, one hour from Sacramento, or Reno, and five miles from Grass Valley or Nevada City. The Lodge occupies five acres adjacent to Tahoe National Forest, in California's Gold Country. Outside the doors you'll find decks for lounging and star gazing, a barbecue, and fenced acres of wooded gardens for strolling (great for safely exercising your dog). The Pioneer Trail, directly across from the lodge, is a local favorite for both cycling, hiking and horseback riding. Cross country and downhill skiing at Lake Tahoe, are a short drive. South Yuba River State Park swimming and fishing holes are nearby, and are dog-friendly. The vibrant cultural scenes of Nevada City and Grass Valley are a few miles down the hill. All guest suites have plenty of room and many amenities to make your stay as easy as possible. In the morning, the Lodge offers continental breakfast in the dining room or outside on the deck.

      Exceeded expectations

      We had an amazing time at Harmony Ridge Lodge. It was beyond our expectations for us and our Lucky dog. Beautiful gardens and a area in back of the wooded property to walk Lucky off leash. The room was cozy with a country décor and clean crisp bed sheets. The breakfast buffet was delicious with a variety of options! A friendly and welcoming staff. QUIET location and just a few mile to town.

      Very Pet Friendly

      I showed up with my large 80# golden retriever. They were very welcoming and had extra towels in my room so that you could wipe their muddy paws down before entering the room. They gave me a first floor room because she is a senior lady and has trouble with stairs. They have a nice sized fenced area where they can run around. All of the staff wanted to pet her and give her attention. I really appreciated their acceptance towards her!

      Doggie heaven

      So delightful to cozy by the fireplace on a snowy night with my husband and Stella. We will definitely return when the snow melts.
