      Not That Dog Friendly

      This hotel charges a pet fee of $75, but was not pet friendly. The "designated pet relief area" was next to a construction site so there was no grass, only gravel and sand. There was also large equipment in use which was very loud. We were directed by staff to take our dog to the grassy area in front of the hotel. Here there was grass, but it bordered an extremely busy road with cars and trucks speeding by. If you have a dog that is fearful of loud noises, this is not an ideal location for them to take care of business. This hotel is located on the beach, but dogs are not allowed on the beach. We were very disappointed by this experience and would not stay here again.

      Bad experience

      The hotel was beautiful and in a prime location. Room was very nice as was the breakfast. Our only negative was we were in the 2nd floor and the bar area was blasting music 24/7. When we checked out the employee asked us how our stay was. I mentioned the never-ending music kept us up at night. Her response was, "I'm sorry." Seriously, the was the most lackluster response to an issue. That was a horrible lasting impression on the way out the door. It still baffled us.

      Great stay

      Staff at hotel was so nice and welcoming to me and my dog. Pet areas nice and safe.
