It’s a truck stop, so lots always going on. No place to eat with Fido (except ‘to go’ in room). Was clean but somewhat noisy.

We had no idea what a huge and complete package this hotel is. The hotel portion is just fine. Nice, spacious and quiet room. Great amenities, like multiple great restaurants, even a movie theatre with a first run movie!

We stayed 7 days while house hunting. Very clean, great staff, excellent value, best pet policy fee. The two dogs enjoyed their strip of land along the property perimeter just fine. Would stay again.

Fred Basset (and his parents) felt very welcomed at the Portlander Inn. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful. Although not luxurious, our room was more than adequate - it was reasonably large and comfortable with microwave and refrigerator and a large flat screen TV and a very comfy bed. Our stay was short, so we were not able to enjoy the cinema, fitness center or music venue. We did enjoy having a complimentary freshly prepared breakfast and were impressed with the in-room coffee as well. (Fred enjoyed his dog food in the room, supplied by us.) The hotel is part of a truck stop and its location is in an commercial area, near I-5, with easy access to the sights of Portland. At the hotel, we did not feel at all like we were in a commercial area or near a freeway. Fred Basset (and his parents) said he would love to stay here again!
