Wind River RV Park

One of the finest places to park a rig is the Wind River RV Park. Based on one rating scale, it ranked in the top 28 in the United States, and in another, it was named the best in Wyoming. In 1999, it rated as one of the top 17 parks nationally. That's why Joe Pepper, Park Manager said he has a return business rate of 22 percent. When you walk into the place, Pepper and his staff treat you as if they know you. One man from a small town near Laramie was shocked when he stepped in, not expecting the outpouring of friendship. The park was started a few years ago by a couple from California and can take up to 60 RVs. Pepper said it has showers nicer than many people have at home, cable TV, a commercial Laundromat, and the maximum amount of electricity for power hookups.
