Dixons Coastal Maine Campground
Dogs are allowed at Dixons Coastal Maine Campground, but they must be kept on a short leash (no longer than 5 feet) when outside your vehicle. They are to remain tied on a durable chain or rope that will not allow the pet to extend off the site in any one direction. Pets should never be left unattended. The owner must clean up after his/her own pet. If the animal becomes a nuisance (barking, aggressive, owner not cleaning up after, etc.) you will be asked to remove it from the park. Situated on twenty-six acres in Cape Neddick, Maine Dixon's Campground offers a pristine and natural Maine woods camping experience in the heart of the southern seacoast. Campsites are located among four wooded and open areas, each with it's own restroom and shower facility. Water and electric hook-ups are available and a dumping station is located in the park. There is a large heated in ground pool and a small playground for younger children. The campground office and store are open daily and offer grocery and camping necessities, perishables, ice, wood, supplies, daily papers, hot coffee and souvenirs.
