Dogs are allowed at Homestead By the River Family Campground, but they must be kept on a leash when outside your vehicle and be properly cleaned up after. Aggressive pets are not permitted. There is a two pet limit per site. If your pet/pets have the tendency to bark, please bring a bark collar. Pets must be attended to at all times. Bring your pet/pets' paper work. Homestead By the River Family Campground is located on the Saco River, just 10 mins away from Old Orchard Beach. If you just like to swim, fish, canoe, kayak or take a slow tube ride down the river, Homestead By The River is the place for you and your family. They offer spacious sites, clean restrooms and showers and coin laundry. Their camp store carries basic camping supplies, firewood (delivered to your site), ice cream/candy, ice and a small line of personal care and grocery items (including farm fresh eggs).
