5 Star RV Park was built in 2004 in rolling countryside just north of downtown Tyler, and just south of the main I20 freeway. With 25 RV pads on 20 acres of land, there?s plenty of room. The park was built for big rigs, the 12 pull-throughs are 75? feet long by 30? wide, and the 13 back-ins are 65 feet long by 30? wide, so you are less crowded than in many local parks. They are 5 miles from the antiquing centre in downtown Tyler, 6 miles from the main medical centre (for traveling nurses or treatment), 8 miles from the Delek refinery, 4 ? miles to a discount grocery, and 7 miles to local Wal-Marts. Tyler has a shopping mall with Sears, JC Penny, Foley?s, Dillard?s and many local stores.
