Raccoon Mountain RV Park
Dogs are allowed at Raccoon Mountain RV Park but they do ask that you leave the family Pit Bull, Pit Bull Mixes, Doberman, or Rottweiler at home. The State of Tennessee has a few rules which must be strictly observed. These include: your pet must be leashed at all times when outside; your pet must wear a valid rabies ID tag at all times; you must immediately remove any pet waste from your site; you cannot leave your pet unattended outside your RV or camper at any time--if you leave the site, your pet must either leave with you or be secured inside your RV; and they are required to contact the Sheriff?s Department and County Health Department if a dog bite occurs on the property. Nobody likes a barking dog and they ask that you exercise control over your pet so that they do not receive complaints from your neighbors. In the event that they do receive a complaint, they will ask you to remedy the problem. After a second complaint, they will ask you to keep the pet inside your RV or camper. A third complaint will result in your being asked to leave the park. Naturally, no refund of any camping fees is possible in this situation. Description
Raccoon Mountain RV Park & Campground is the closest campground to the area's major attractions: Tennessee Aquarium, Lookout Mountain, Southern Belle Riverboat, IMAX Theater, downtown Chattanooga, and Erlanger Medical Center. They are adjacent to Raccoon Mountain Caverns and are just one mile from the TVA Raccoon Mountain Facility along the Tennessee River. They have 52 full-service sites that have city water, sewer, cable TV, and electric service. Premium sites all are pull-through sites designed to easily accommodate the largest RV's with multiple slides and tow vehicles. These sites also have 50 amp electric service at no additional charge, and average 30-45in width and 55-80in length. Standard sites are designed for maximum combined lengths of 35in and less. They all have city water, sewer, cable TV, and 20/30 amp electric. Amenities include a clean bathhouse, guest laundry, an outdoor swimming pool, playground, basketball, hiking trails, swinging bridge, game room, go-karts, large activity field, WiFi, dump station, and more!
