Description

Colonial Meadows Campground is a quiet family campground 10 minutes from the fine boardwalk and beaches of Ocean City, NJ. They have an Olympic pool, planned activities, playground, store, and more! They have 140 total camp/RV sites, 125 of which are pull-thrus. Colonial Meadows Campground can accommodate up to a 40' max RV length.

Sweet place but German Shepherds are not allowed!
Colonial Meadows is a darling campground I have stayed in several times over the years, including when it was under its previous ownership and its new ownership. The new owners have done a lot to improve the campground and have significantly spruced it up, which was great to see. However, it is important to note that while dogs are allowed there, some dogs - specifically "aggressive breeds" like German Shepherds - are not permitted on the premises for insurance purposes. Because of this, we were not able to stay there during our most recent trip. I wanted to note the issue about their insurance requirements regarding "aggressive dogs" so that it would not create a hassle for others.
