    Description

    A 25-site campground is located off the north park access road. Facilities include campsite tables, grills and a flush restroom with showers. The campground is open from early May to mid October, depending on weather conditions. Open camping is also available along the southwest shore. All campsites are first-come, first-served.

      Great scenery and fun for all

      This is a beautiful recreation area and several nice short hiking trails that you can take your canine friend on. make sure you get there in time for sunset. Grills and campfire rings available. Can do tent camping or RV. Best side is East Side - the first one you come to. It has showers and campsites are first come, first served for now so get there early to stake a space. In 2023 they are going to start a reservation system. Our doggie liked it but you do have to keep on leash at all times and there are a lot of burrs in the plants. Highly recommended.
