  Great stay

  Right off interstate, friendly staff, clean room, grass area by parking lot with picnic tables, chairs, fire pit. Located a short walk across pedestrian bridge to Jacob’s Island dog park, plenty of room for dogs to roam and access river. Was given treats and dog blanket when we checked in.

  Nice place to stay

  Nice place to stay, very accommodating for our dog. Nice rooms and they have an elevator! Great breakfast. If you’re a light sleeper the train across the street may bother you.

  A great experience

  The hotel staff were very friendly and made sure I was aware of where the dog park was for my dog to take care of her business. The hotel had a nice breakfast, clean rooms, comfortable beds, and we received a welcome gift for our dog.

  Nice, quiet location

  Nice room on the second floor, close to a single flight of stairs leading to the outdoor pet area. Good size outdoor area with fire pit and tables. Dog park across the river, a short walk away. Good location with restaurants close. Relatively easy on and off of the interstate, but in a quiet location. Small welcome bag for our dog. Room was nice, bed was comfortable. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Morning breakfast one of the better ones we have seen.

  It was fine

  No rooms available on 1st floor... so taking dogs in and out was a bit of a chore. Dogs were weirded out by elevator. The dog area was well lit for our moonlight strolls. They had poop bags and trash cans out for use. Continental breakfast with eggs, waffles, sausage, breads, cereal, etc. $25 pet fee. Easy check out (drop keys in box). Did not have USB ports for charging electronics.

  Kind to pets, less to people

  The Comfort Inn in Missoula, MT allowed two large dogs ($25 fee each) and supplied an adequate, clean, comfortable room on the first floor. Nothing at all special was offered: not doggie bags for poop pick up or treats. Further, and the reason I won't stay again, there were only filmy, light weight curtains on the room windows. They offered no privacy and let outside security lights shine in all night. Thus was about $129 room for $350. I'll try a lot of other places before I return to Comfort Inn.

  What a treat

  This hotel wasn’t listed on BringFido, and the hotels that were were booked during our recent visit. I found this on another site, and was so glad I did! It was perfect for traveling with our sweet 70-lb dog; so much so that the concierge gave us a welcome bag with Milk Bones, a tennis ball, a dog water bottle, and poop bags! Oscar was very excited. 😁

  It did charge a $25 dog fee, but in this instance, I felt it was worth it. There’s a nice outdoor seating and walking area overlooking the river. And the hotel is less than a mile from downtown Missoula, which you can get to via a short walk through one busy intersection and then some small neighborhoods and riverside park trails. The front desk staff were super helpful in identifying dog-friendly restaurants and walk suggestions.

  Nice, updated rooms with great AC, cable channels, comfortable bed, and a good shower. Mediocre breakfast, but it hardly mattered. We also discovered that Choice Hotels, the chain owner, is overall a dog-friendly enterprise. Who knew? Would definitely recommend for traveling with a dog.

  Great dog park very near by

  The room was very nice and clean and the staff professional and friendly. Would recommend you do not get a room next to the stairs because that set off our dogs a few times. There is a very nice dog park within a 5-minute walk.

  This was our 3rd stay here with our dogs it’s easy convenient and definitely pet friendly

  Great dog park nearby

  Very pleasant motel with a great dog park just a couple blocks away. Just walk out the front door of the Comfort Inn, turn left, walk to the stoplight, turn left, and walk to a footbridge over the Clark Fork. Turn left after crossing the bridge and you'll find an off-leash dog park that takes up a whole island within the river. Lots of trees, a grassy meadow, shoreline, trails, birds, and butterflies.
