My dog wanted a bath after one night here - horrible facility. Feces in room toilet upon check in. Changed rooms, feces in that toilet. Filthy.

I contacted the corporate office during my 1 night stay there yesterday. Horrible. Dirty. Safety issues.
The description provided on your site is completely false. I would guess it's been more than a decade since any renovations were done in this run-down hotel. Disrepair: spackled sections on hall and room walls; Floorboards falling off wall in room; doors, floors, door frames and furniture all very scratched & torn up; material around entire perimeter of box spring is torn, shredded, and hanging off, including large holes that would allow a pet to go into box spring; in hall entryway: bracket where hinge of auto-closer on fire door should be was only partially present.Unclean: hair in sink, pet food on floor, oily smears on headboard, food/drink residue/splashes on walls, dresser, and curtains. Unsafe: no battery in smoke detector, broken auto-closer on fire door in hall, both closet doors off track, no safety features on door to adjoining room other than thumb lock.
Uncomfortable: thin walls--could hear every word, noise and TV character as if they were happening in my room--no ice machine could be found on the 1st floor. - DouglasApr 2, 2021Not that good.
Our first room smeelled terribly of smoke. The elevator didn't work that evening, and the place was old and rundown.

The room was not clean. Crusty mirror in the hallway, sticky bathroom floor, hair on bed pillow and dusty furniture. The smoke alarm had been removed leaving just the bracket in the ceiling. The staff tried to replace but couldn't. We were offered another room but refused due to location. The closer on the fire door was missing and had been replaced with a sign asking to keep the fire door closed. In the morning, it was left open sometime that night. The facility is aged but that doesn't bother me if it is clean and safe (I had to ask to turn on the outside lights well after dark which was done although some were not working). I don't know when Wyndham purchased La Quinta but I relied on that to make my choice. Now I have a lower respect for the Wyndham brand and this will play into future decisions about where to stay.

Needed a 1 night stop . It’s clean - carpet needs an update . But for 1 night everything was good .

The room was spacious and clean. There was some noise from other dogs on the first floor but that is to be expected. It was quiet after around 8 o'clock. Breakfast was simple but a nice touch. Great value, will be staying again

Loud loud thin walls. Hard to sleep here. They need more staff, the hall way smells bad, the bathroom is so cold like a dungeon.
