    Sands of Islamorada

    Sands of Islamorada allows two pets up to 25 lbs in designated rooms for an additional fee of $45 per pet, per night. Both dogs and cats are accepted. Pets may be left in the room unattended if a 'Do Not Disturb' sign is hung on the door. Towels, bowls, and toys are provided. There is a grassy area for pet relief on the property, and waste bags are available. Dogs must have proof of all up-to-date vaccinations.     Description

    Only 9 or 10 rooms in a great area. Rooms have full sized refrigerators, comfy beds, nice bathrooms. They have two suites. Pool on the grounds, as well as a hot tub. Kayak rentals available. Oceanside with a small beach area and a small pier for fishing. The folks who manage it are a young family who lives on the grounds and make you feel like family. LOVE IT! All rooms are pet friendly.

      Great location

      The location was perfect for our trip to Marathon/Islamorada/Key Largo. Very dog friendly. Only complaint is it’s not well lit at night for a late night potty.

      Perfect in every way

      Fantastic old Florida charm in a beautiful remodeled room. Comfortable bed, nice shower, and great waterfront location close to great restaurants and shops. Concrete block construction makes the rooms very quiet.

      Beautiful and Relaxing

      The accommodations were very spacious and comfortable. There is a nice sandy area for the dogs to hang out with us and enjoy the view. They have a couple grills to make dinner easy. My only complaint is the TV is strictly a smart TV and the hotel wifi signal seemed to shut off around 9:00 pm leaving us with nothing.

      Very Accommodating

      The hotel is very comfortable and by the water. The staff is very friendly.
      They have poop bag stations for the dogs.
      My fur baby and myself enjoyed staying there.
