      Welcoming and well located

      As others have said, funky, cool and a little weird, but great for dogs after you convince them about the elevator. Our room had a super small bathroom and no refrigerator, which was a bit tough for our dog food situation. Wouldn’t rush back, but it was interesting for a night.

      Enjoyable stay

      Our second time staying there. They are welcoming and helpful. The facilities are great. The location is great. The dogs were happy.

      Quaint Boutique Hotel

      The folks at the Dean were awesome, and very helpful during our stay. We arrived during a rainy period and they got us checked in right away. The elevator was a little concerning for the pups (an old-style closet-sized lift with scissoring metal gates), but the room was comfortable and quiet.

      Funky boutique hotel in great downtown location

      Nice boutique hotel easily accessible to the river front area and providence place mall. Short walk (100-150 yards) to a park where you can walk dogs on leash. Only challenge was the elevator. Very small with manually operated doors that didn’t stay open on their own. We chose to take the stairs instead.
