  Totally enjoyed our stay at the Hyatt. Definitely, the best and classiest place to stay in Dewey Beach.

  Great Staff

  Very pet friendly, great location, staff very friendly and helpful. Only issue with our room was it was just off the check-in desk and when Luna our dog heard a noise, she would bark anytime during the night. Besides that, nice size room. Will definitely be back.

  We enjoyed!

  No complaints. It was very quiet because it is January but beautiful hotel in a beautiful location. I’m sure it’s bustling in season.

  Great location, terrible room

  I would rate this hotel 4-5 bones (friendly staff, easy parking, great location, comfy bed) but I was assigned Room 100. It was right next to the engine for the elevator and also right next to an access door. When someone opened the access door it sounded as if they were trying to enter my room. My dog alerted on the door all night and the elevator engine going on and off made sleep impossible. So give the hotel a try with Fido but avoid Room 100.

  Extra Dog Friendly

  The hotel and beach are great for well behaved dogs. This is rare with most of Delaware's beaches. It's important to know that Dewey Beach is not a quiet town and is known for live music, bars, and partying.

  Great location, fun area

  Close to the beach and nice doggie area at hotel on the bay. Quick drive to the boardwalk. Lots of great dog friendly restaurants. Dogs enjoyed every minute.

  Great place & location!

  Went for a weekend in early April. The Hyatt was a great place to bring our pup, close to the beach & garbage cans close by. Dewey itself was awesome overall as a location for a relaxing weekend with the pup. Would've given this hotel 5 stars but we just kept missing housekeeping during our stay. We ended up needing to ask for more towels, which they gladly gave us new warm ones. Would stay there again.

  Nice hotel but we had room issues

  Check-in was easy. Staff was friendly. The hotel is being renovated so there were some issues with door locks not working and our shower had no hot water. The hotel sent staff to check out and found out that the plumbing was not set up correctly. The toilet had hot water and the sink and shower had no hot water. They couldn't fix it that night and told us we could move to the room next door. We were leaving the next day and decided not too switch rooms. They did give us a key to the room so we could shower. The Lighthouse restaurant on the property did let us bring our dog to eat when is so that was nice.

  Great location

  Perfect in the autumn to avoid crowds. Very nice with dogs, not only small dogs, I saw a German Shepard there (maybe because the low season). Little choice for restaurants on Monday/Tuesday though.

  Great hotel, friendly and helpful staff

  The hotel was very nice--clean, bright and modern. Very pet friendly as well. What set this place apart from previous hotels I've stayed at was the friendly and attentive staff. From the moment we walked in the door, every single hotel associate greeted us with a smile and asked how they could help us. With the state of customer service these days, this impressed me immensely.

  This hotel is very dog friendly. Keep in mind they do charge a 100 cleaning fee but that’s pretty average. Staff was friendly as well as other hotel guests to my pup. Hotel is a street away from the beach can walk there with chairs coolers, etc. very easily! Would definitely recommend.

  Perfect location, very dog friendly!

  We stayed at Hyatt Dewey Beach for 3 nights with our 3 dogs. We were given a room on the first floor with easy outdoor access. Location of the hotel is great. Right by the beach, many restaurants, and bars in super short walking distance. Hotel offers free breakfast, parking. There is an indoor pool, and rooms are good size. It was also very easy to get the dog licenses for beach access. Town Hall is a block away from the hotel.

  Great place to stay with your dogs

  We were there with our 2 dogs (large breeds) and Hyatt place was very welcoming and accommodating. The pups and us all had a comfortable stay!

  Great New Hotel for Location and Amenities

  Loved the hotel and the location, very pet friendly stay. There is a small beach right in front on the bay side and a huge dog friendly beach across the road on the ocean side. A dog's paradise. The restaurant next door and across the street were not open yet and both are dog friendly, but we went to Woody's down the road and it was great. Very dog friendly and the best crab cakes ever.....there were 3 other dogs in the enclosed front patio and they all were allowed to hang out off leash and play....so much fun.

  Dogs Everywhere!

  This hotel had many dogs owners which was great fun. The beach behind the hotel was an easy spot to hang with our pup to watch the sunset. We allowed her off-leash when few people were around. There is $75 pet fee for up to a week stay. Would have liked more grassy areas or a fenced in area for dog play.

  Great hotel

  This was our first time taking our pup to a hotel, and it was a great experience. Our kids loved the indoor pool and our pup loved walking down to the bay beach. The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. I definitely recommend this hotel for a family with a pup.

  Great, very dog friendly staff. Spacious rooms, good value for money. Only one block from a dog friendly beach. Dogs can be off the leash on Dewey Beach which means a lot to us and our pooch. I wish more places followed the example of Dewey. We will definitely return to the town and this hotel.

  Perfect stay!

  Hyatt Place was beautiful. I was impressed by how many other pups were there. The location is perfect, right on the bay and walking distance to the ocean. Having Rusty Rudder's right next door was even better, their crushes are amazing!
  Only complaint is the lack of grass space for the dogs. I was expecting a little more, but only was able to find two small patches on one side of the hotel. Otherwise, it was perfect

  Friendly staff

  The staff was really welcoming and friendly. A dog friendly restaurant was next door which was great. The downside was the room smelled some and wasn’t the cleanest. The view from our room was of an empty room of some sort. For the cost I expected to see the outdoors from the window. Parking was great and we were really close to the beach.

  Very Pet Friendly

  We had a lovely weekend stay with our two Bichons. Hyatt Place was one of the most pet friendly hotels we’ve stayed in. They do charge a fee ($75 per stay) but our dogs were welcomed everywhere except the dining room. Pet rooms are on the 1st floor. Very clean and no evidence of previous pets. The front desk staff was awesome!

  Great location!

  The hotel is very nice, clean and extremely close to the beach. The staff was so-so but it was perfect for what we needed.
