  Fun Motel

  The motel is super cute...brings me back to my childhood. It's right by the lake trail, so it's easy to get a run in or walk the pups. It's a 3.7 mile loop. There were elk around in the mornings. The room was great... my favorite jacuzzi yet. Also, there was a private little fenced in patio with grass for the pups. Great spot! The DVD's are a nice touch.

  Very dog friendly

  Murphy’s took me back in time to the motels I stayed at with my family as a child in the 70’s. It is basic with all the essentials for humans, but fantastic for dogs. Our room opened to a little gated yard with a small patio and grass for my golden retriever to easily do her business without any ado. The hotel is very close to the 4 mile walking trail that goes around the lake. Dogs are welcome on the trail. My dog even took a little dip while we were walking. There aren’t many hiking trails in the area that allow dogs. I highly recommend Kruger Rock - tremendous 4-mile hike with incredible views only 15 minutes away.

  Excellent Customer Service

  Very clean rooms. Very polite staff. Especially Dave!!! He is a gem and a stellar employee. This establishment is very welcoming and comfortable. Great views and plenty of things to do. The hot tub is great as well as the fire pits. We’ll definitely be visiting again.

  Cozy motel

  Had an enjoyable visit with the fur ball. Motel staff provided proactive and excellent service, such as texting us once the room was ready for check-in. Lots of neat touches, like the DVD and board game collection, free popcorn, bicycles for free rental, etc. Room was spacious and clean. No issues leaving the fur ball in the room; he had a wonderful time sleeping in while we explored the Rocky Mountain National Park.

  Good location. Older motel but clean and comfortable. Breakfast was continental - no hot options but plenty of restaurants nearby. Hunters Chophouse was within walking distance and was excellent!

  Great accommodations

  Had a great experience at Murphy’s resort. It was a clean location and had normal hotel amenities but had a very ‘home-like’ feel. They had movies and popcorn and plenty of outdoor activities all at the hotel. There were no issues with having my dog with me and they had a specific area for pet relief. Overall great experience!

  The location was great but the construction behind our room was loud until dark on Friday and before 8am on Saturday morning. The construction also caused the water from the faucets in our room to initially come out brown. The air conditioner in our room was also incredibly noisy.

  Stayed 5 nights in three different rooms. All pet friendly, you pay $20 extra per dog each night.
