This hotel will be hard to beat, luxurious for humans and dogs! Every staff member was eager to greet my two large furry travel companions. They provided beds, bowls, treats and doggy poop bags. Lovely park by the river to walk in.

The Charmant is the most dog friendly hotel we've ever stayed in. From the moment we pulled up to this historic gem we could tell we were in for a wonderful stay. Elsa, our 136 pound Great Pyrenees, was welcomed with open arms and lots of pets. The beautiful boutique room has a dog bed and bowls ready for her arrival. Elsa enjoyed the walks in the park across the street, along the river and around historic downtown. In the evenings Elsa held court in the lounge while we enjoyed delicious gourmet nibbles and wine. We will definitely be back!

I don't typically review anything, but this is without a doubt the best place that I have ever brought my standard poodle, Pixie, along with me. It has public places where you can sit inside, is convenient to park areas and trails for short or long walks and they welcome with dog beds, treats and food and water bowls. I definitely will be back!

We brought our shepherd here and they were soooooo wonderful! we sat and had coffee in the parlor and then went to the roof for lunch. Our dog was offered water and everyone was so great with her! now we will have to bring her to stay in the hotel room now that we know how great they are!
