    Under Canvas Grand Canyon is located on 56 secluded acres of beautiful forest along historic Route 66 in a town known as ?Williams, Gateway to the Grand Canyon.? ? Sitting at the base of Bill Williams Mountain, in one of the largest Ponderosa Pine Forests in the world, we are only 40 minutes away from the South Rim of the Grand Canyon. Spend a few days exploring one of the Seven Wonders of the World or enjoy an extensive variety of activities just a short distance away from our luxury camp. In addition to every outdoor adventure imaginable, you can also choose to just cruise down Route 66. Choose to stay in one of our 3 gorgeous tent types. All of our tents boast either king beds or 4 twin beds with luxurious linens, a wood burning stove with firewood provided*, and comfortable chairs for sitting out and enjoying the stars at night. All our tents are perfect for couples or families. For our most luxurious options choose one of our suites or deluxe tents which also boast en-suite bathrooms complete with a hot shower, sink & flushing toilet. Our suites also have the added luxury of a roll top bath.

      Friendliest place on earth!

      At first I was nervous since I’ve never done anything like this before. But the second I walked in, I was greeted by the friendliest people I’ve ever met. They were so helpful and accommodating and the staff loved our dogs. The food was amazing and we were able to eat inside the food tent with the dogs. They brought them water without us having to ask and gave them some love and attention. The place itself had everything. Coffee, tea and water at all times, a pantry, some gifts and a lounge area. It was such a peaceful environment and we will definitely go back again.

      A 0nce in a Lifetime Experience

      I live in Phoenix and camp at the Grand Canyon several times a year. This time I met some friends from California there. Last night they were "Glamping" at Under Canvas. I'd heard about it from other friends and had to see. It is soooooo cool. They were 100% booked BUT they said they could add a cot to a tent AND my little Pomeranian and Yorkie Poo were not just welcomed but encouraged to stay. Water bowls every where. Dogs allowed in all "tents" and the lobby/restaurants. It is, bar none, the coolest Dog Friendly accommodations around!
