We travel a lot and we always take our dog. Kimpton is hands down my favorite hotel line, but The Journeyman takes it to another level of customer service and friendliness! Also this area - the Third Ward in Milwaukee - is the most dog friendly city we have ever been to. Super friendly people, tons of dogs, lots of grassy areas and clean sidewalks. We also never felt unsafe or uneasy at any time on our trip. This visit was truly delightful and we absolutely recommend it!

Milwaukee exceeded our expectations! The Kimpton was the perfect place to stay for doggos and humans alike. Four paws up, would recommend.

They had a doggie bowl and greeted Ms Nessa. You can’t bring your dog to the rooftop bar - boo! Some guests were not happy about dogs being in the hotel. Overall, it was great and they are dog friendly. A bit pricey too.

Super clean and friendly hotel. They had a great gym and other amenities so didn’t feel like I compromised my stay to accommodate my pup.

The hotel was exceptionally clean, the staff was super friendly, and our pets were truly appreciated. They posted welcome signs for our pets in the lobby. The front desk gave the pets treats and the rooms were so quiet, I never heard another room at all. Great location and tons to do all in walking distance (restaurants, bars, music and shopping). I couldn’t have been in a better location. My only improve here is there is no parking… pay on the street (2 hour max during hours of operation) or in a parking structure down the road.

We brought our great Dane here and it was great. The staff is very helpful and welcoming to me and my dog. When I had my dog and some food they opened the front door for me and pressed the elevator button for me.
There is no grass directly outside the hotel, but there is a small park 1 block away.

We LOVED our stay at the Journeyman hotel! Upon arrival, they wrote our dog’s name on a dog chalkboard and gave him complimentary treats! Also, a glass of wine for mom too! We felt very welcomed here. The rooms were clean and very stylish. No pool at this hotel, but they do have a fitness center. Our room did not smell at all if animals and there was a bite little dog statue and dog bowl inside. Beds were comfortable and bathroom was modern. No pet fee and any size dogs allowed! Everyone greeted us with a warm smile and made Bear feel like a celebrity!!! I’d highly recommend this hotel if staying in Milwaukee!

Staff is friendly and extremely helpful. It is apparent they really enjoy having your dog stay with you at the hotel. The amenities were very good as well. I would definitely stay with them again.

We stopped in for a drink and sat on the couch near the fire with our pooch on our lap. Employee gave her a couple treats .
We will definitely stay here when we are in town overnight.
