First, have to brag on the front desk staff, who were terrific when we checked in and then were very helpful when I sought their assistance with a dinner choice. The location is excellent, right off of I-10, and we were given a first floor room at the end of the hall. Room was very comfortable for both of us and our dog. Nice area adjacent for Birdie to do her business. Very pleased with every aspect of this stay.

Staff was great. Room was clean. Bed nice but carpet and chair upholstery worn. Nice area for walking dogs. Our room was on the first floor by the door and was very convenient. We would stay here again.

Nice place to stop for the night. Suites include full kitchen and our ground floor room was by the front desk but it was still quiet. 2 grass areas to relieve dogs. Very clean and welcoming.

We love this hotel. The staff is so nice to Boomer and they don’t clean with harsh smelling chemicals that bother his nose. The rooms are large and comfortable.

Filthy room. Wondered if they had done anything beyond changing the sheets. The front desk folks were nice. But the state of our room (rust stains on the bathroom counter, hairs all over the shower, hairs on pillows, and surfaces covered in grime, burnt out light bulb leaning against a wall) made the experience a rough one. Won’t stay here again.

I booked my room through BringFido. Should have been a room with two double beds but when I arrived I was told the only room available was a king room - very awkward having to share the bed with a male friend. Was not happy. The area seemed “ok” … I would NOT choose this hotel a second time around. Candlewood Sweets Pensacola. Front desk stay was not what I experienced at other hotels along the road (AZ to FL). Party going on in the back corner of the parking lot 🤷🏻♀️ extremely loud music playing from 4 different vehicles. I will plan my next trip to stop before or after this location. The staff was going to charge me the higher price for the double room but I complained and was given the double room rate ( which was less than a king suite).

Ok, so the ugly. I booked thru BringFido and wow what a cluster it was when I arrived at the hotel. They did not have my correct room and they were sold out of the room that I wanted . They told me to not book via Bringfido/Travelocity or whatever he said again. The manager said just call the hotel and book because they keep having issues with third party booking. Huh??? No dog treats-no problem-we brought our own.
The area itself has a lot of people that are panhandling during the day and appear to be homeless, but nowadays they could just be tax cheaters, they were not near the hotel and it was not concerning. You can’t go anywhere without panhandling people. The strip mall next to the hotel is not really a shop-able strip mall so don’t bother. The good stuff: the hotel is very clean and so was the room. Also the hotel was quiet and there was plenty of green area for taking your dog potty. All of the staff seemed very happy and friendly towards my very beautiful poodle. Air conditioning was on point cause it was hot as hell outside! Lots of sand around so watch out for the sand spurs that your furbaby can pick up in Florida. You will know it when they start picking up a foot all of a sudden. We tried to book here on our way back but they were sold out. The biggest ugly thing about the hotel is the price. This hotel is the most expensive in the area and really has no extra amenities. It lost a bone because of no treats and the whole check in snafu which really irked me. I know hotels hold back rooms so really???

The room was spacious enough for the 4 of us; clean and comfortable and very quiet considering there were several other dog families near our room - we never heard them. Pet walking area and lots of walking around. Would stay here again.

The room was very clean and so comfortable. It was my first hotel stay with my pup and I was surprised we were put on the 3rd floor. But it all worked out fine. I felt very safe walking around after dark since the outdoor space was very well lit. Staff was very friendly!

Full kitchen in the room, had everything we needed, comfortable beds with both firm & soft pillow choices, staff & housekeeping were all very friendly & helpful. They exchanged our towels and supplies whenever we asked. There were a lot of Duke Energy workers staying there working on tree trimming in the area, so the hotel was very busy, but it was quiet at night and everyone was pleasant and respectful about using the elevators during the pandemic.

Fido was happy with the potty areas including trees surrounding the hotel. We were all happy with the exceptional roominess of the studio suite, which we selected because we were staying for 5 days. We were close to the beaches so Fido had a romp in the warm surf daily. Warning, remember to get a toy that floats.

We loved staying here. The room was spacious and well-appointed. Everything was a little step up from a normal hotel room. They have a full kitchen (2 burner stove), dishes, silverware, pots, and pans. You could make a meal here. The bed was comfortable. The shower/tub is big with a high shower head. the desk is long with plenty of space for your laptop. Plenty of outlets as well. It was quieter than most hotels I have stayed at. They have a pet walking area right outside the door. We stayed in room 129 and it was the closet to the door.
The thing that might worry some that I saw is that the neighborhood has seen better days and there were some homeless people in the shopping center next door.
The hotel is reasonably priced so it seems a lot of construction crews stay there so there were guys in the parking lot socializing at night, but it was not loud or intrusive.

The room was clean and a great size. The kitchenette was a great bonus, as we were able to still prepare food for the dogs. It was a quiet place to stay so the dogs did not bark every few minutes because of noise.
