      Run Down

      Very run down establishment. The beds were just awful. Very thin mattresses and lumpy. Not what I was expected for the price. Though it was a cute cabin there were lots of broken things. Our dog was fine there though, the humans not so much. Lots of places to smell and the fenced area behind the cabin was convenient. She didn’t mind the beds.

      Great Service!!!

      The golden Bear Cottages are a wonderful place in Big Bear Lake!!! They are very accommodating and there were several cottages with dogs. The first night we were their there was a power outage and the lady on duty brought me a lantern so I could walk my small dog safely at night until the power was restored. The cottage I was in was small but had all the necessities. Better than glamping!! They had amazing green space to walk your dog and the larger units even had attached fenced in yards for your dog. ( great for big dogs) The pool and spa were clean and heated. Everything was super clean! They take their time to make sure the guest feel comfortable .
