The Shores Inn and Beach Houses welcomes two pets of any size in designated rooms for an additional fee of $25 per pet, per night, plus a $150 refundable deposit. Guests with pets are allowed in Standard Rooms with two Queen beds only. Both dogs and cats are allowed, and well-behaved pets may be left unattended in rooms.     Doggone disappointing

    Hidden deposit fee. That basically destroyed our vacation and ability to have spending money as the deposit was taken on the cc without advisement or consent (I went to the bank to get $150 cash so as to allow spending money on the cc but wasn't asked for it upon return). Sand in sheets, lumpy beds, spa in tub did not work. To say the least, very disappointing.

    Nightmare completely!!!!!

    This place was a nightmare! Horrible C/S. We literally left after the very first day and just probably will have to eat for the next 3 days that we paid for. There was no hot water at all went and told the front desk and his response was, sorry there is nothing I can do and that the water takes 15 - 25 min to warm up that's just the way it is! Well it never warmed up period! The jetted spa tub we requested in the room did not work at all period and there was no way at all to turn it on of it had anyway no switch drain cover nothing and ice cold!!! The lock on the door was broken and would not open and we had to break in thru the window cause nobody was there in the when we got back to our room after ! No Phone in the room, No TV until we finally realized that is was it was not connected, the shower was broken so we couldn't take a shower even, No A/C at all just a fan on the desk!!! The vending machine was empty completely. And they over charged me as well! The front desk person was asleep face down when I went to tell them the situation the next morning and he flat out said to me there is nothing I can do sorry about that????? It was the worst experience I have ever had in my life! Even the free breakfast, there was none left, no orange juice and one danish that's it. I was appalled by this horrible hotel.

    They need a new staff and manager at this place or something. I will do what I need to make sure We receive some kind of compensation as there are legal issues that that pertain to this situation without a doubt regarding the conditions of this facility according to the better business bureau and travelers rights and room conditions according to my legal advisor and the better business bureau rules and regulations!!!!!! They will be hearing from me and my legal advisors as well as a complaint to the better business bureau has been filed and a few other safety and traveler accommodations rights and laws departments!!! My advise do not stay here at all. There is no grass area for your pets, nowhere to really walk them and no pet sitting like they state is provided though I would have never left my with anyone there period!!!! Just beware folks I mean it!!!!
