    Stoney River Lodge

    Stoney River Lodge allows two dogs of any size in designated rooms for an additional fee of $25 per pet, per stay. Dogs may be left unattended in guest rooms for no more than 4 hours and must be housetrained. The lodge is in a wooded area and next to a state park with plenty of hiking trails. Sorry, no cats. For same day arrivals, please call 877‑411‑3436 to confirm availability of a pet-friendly room.

    Stoney River Lodge is embraced by mountains and located on the banks of the Big Thompson River, inside one of the most beautiful canyons in Colorado. As guests step outside their doors, they embrace the beauty that surrounds them. Units are smoke free, most are equipped with kitchen/kitchenettes, and most allow dogs. Units do not have A/C or hot tubs though. Whether you wish to walk the secluded trails that begin at the property, fish for trout that fill the Big Thompson River, or simply relax in the mountains while reading a good book, Stoney River Lodge offers something for everyone.
