Great location right on the beach/boardwalk in Bethany Beach, DE. All the staff we encountered were super friendly. Rooms are being remodeled with no carpet, a plus if you have a pet.

Went here for a few nights because it's only an hour from our home and wanted to get away. We picked this hotel because pets were welcome. Yes, pets are welcome, but it is so inconvenient that we won't be returning. There is absolutely no grass. Not a single blade. We ended up going across the street to a private residence where there was a foot wide sliver of grass with signs that said no dogs peeing in my yard please. There was no other option. Pet friendly, but if your dog has to pee or poop, you're out of luck.

Stayed at Marriott Ocean Suites two years ago with my dog Schooner, and our stay was wonderful. Fast track to this year... Made a reservation for my dog and I to stay there again and the Marriott changed their policy on dogs without telling me when I made the reservation! Management would not make an exception for me to bring my Lab because he didn’t weigh under 30 lbs. Only found this out a week before my trip from calling to confirm the reservation. Had to cancel my reservation at Marriott, but fortunately, was able to find a much nicer place to stay in Dewey Beach at the Adams Oceanfront Resort. Will not be staying at Marriott any more.

My dog and I were welcomed upon arriving with treats. The manager came out and greeted my pup. We were given a ground level room, very convenient for potty breaks. I highly recommend!!
