If you are wanting and “older Florida” vibe, you can’t go wrong! Is it luxury? No but comfortable and clean. So close to Dock Street and all activities. Tillie and I loved it. We’ll be back soon!

Walking distance to many areas, clean room, no carpets, dog friendly. Only downside was doors don’t have a good seal so when people smoke in the hall you smell it in your room.

The room was very shabby and bathroom was almost not usable. We had paid for three nights but left after the second night forfeiting the third.

I missed not having a coffee maker. The toilet felt like it was going to break off. For the price, and surroundings it was fine. Bed was comfortable.

Please do your self a favor and just don’t. You and your pup deserve better. The room was filthy and smelled strongly of bug spray (which wasn’t working BTW, LOL). Plenty of other pet friendly places to stay in Cedar Key so do avoid this place at all costs. I really wish other reviewers were more honest and not overly nice. The truth is this place is a dive. If I could give it zero bones I would.

While this hotel is in desperate need of an update and the outside could use a good cleaning, the room was clean, centrally located and accommodating to our dogs. Oh yes, bring your own shampoo and hair dryer - our room had neither.

Cedar Inn is within walking distance of restaurants. Even though the hotel is dated, the room was clean.

We stay right downtown near everything. Hotel staff was very dog friendly as was most of the town. There were dogs everywhere. Restaurant behind hotel has great breakfast (2nd street cafe). Fun eclectic old fishing village.

Took BringFido’s referral to Cedar Inn. It was clean with a very comfortable bed. Bathroom small but nicely finished. Check in staff efficient and pleasant. Easy walking distance to dockside restaurants. After dinner sat out on the side porch.

We booked our trip last minute. We only booked for 2 nights. Decided on our first night there we were going to stay through the holiday. Again, last minute, the owners made arrangements for us to stay longer. The beds were comfortable, rooms extremely clean. We brought our Dobie and the owners used to have a red female. There were many different breeds of dogs there. We will be back!
