Within walking distance to most everything. Very nice, clean room with no carpet -- a plus for pet friendly. Saint Augustine is a very-pet friendly city!

No specific doggy spot. Had to go across the street to do business and it was ugly grass with a lot of trash. It’s close to everything and you can leave crated dogs.

PROS: Perfect location for a getaway to St. Augustine’s historic district. Rooms had been updated & were clean. Staff was friendly & helpful. CONS: Although billed as dog friendly, the only area for a dog to do his business is on a narrow strip of grass between the motel property & a fairly busy street. Definitely not convenient, adequate nor safe. Shower floor is extremely slick, I recommend bringing a nonslip mat with you when visiting. Also shower temperature cannot be adjusted. HOT! HOT! HOT! Be aware if visiting with young children.

Location, location, location. We loved it here. So many great restaurants, bars and shops to walk to. The view right across the street was beautiful. Our dog loved walking over there for her morning potties. The room itself was very clean and comfortable and the people working and staying at the hotel were very nice.

Perfect location, traditional motor inn. Great when visiting St Augustine with our GSD. Price was pretty good considering the location! Front desk was very friendly and helpful. Building is not new, but it is in good shape, and the rooms have been recently redone. You might get a little street noise, but I think that's expected with this type of motel. Would definitely stay again.

Had a wonderful stay with our lab. Room very clean and nicely appointed. The bathroom was a bit small but understandably, the place was built decades ago! Both members of the staff were friendly and helpful. We were blown away by all the dog friendly options! Location can’t be beat!!!

The Marion was within walking distance to lots of good restaurants and shops, the fort and historic sites. It has a nice view of the harbor and bridge. We were pleased that there is hardwood floors, and a nice clean bathroom. A short walk down the street and along the bay provided a good relief area for our dog.

We are making this hotel and the St. Augustine area our new Thanksgiving tradition. We will be back. Staff was friendly, rooms were clean and comfy and the location is perfect for walking around. Enjoyed watching the sunrise over the water while walking the dogs.

The Marion Motor Lodge was the pretty spot for it little get away. The location was centrally located and the view was spectacular! The sun rises over the sailboats was gorgeous. The fact that they are pet friendly sealed the deal for us. The room was clean and very spacious. We will definitely stay here again on our next visit.

We were very pleased with this motel. Our room was completely updated, much nicer than we expected. The view was great, and such a short walk to downtown. Will stay there on our next trip to St. Augustine.

Many thanks to Mandy and the staff at Marion Motor Lodge for being so helpful during this stressful time of COVID-19. As I said in the subject line, this motel is in a great spot that is accessible to all the main St. Augustine attractions. There "dog rules" allowing for 2+ pets and big dogs was perfect for us and the $20 fee is much cheaper than many other nearby spots.

This was our first Overnight adventure with our dogs. The place was small but very clean. Staff was very nice. We felt comfortable with our dogs. Location was perfect. Lots of places to walk our two small dogs. (Mini Aussie and boston terrier) Really enjoyed strolling around with them. The accommodation wasn't exactly what we booked because I needed to be on ground floor due to some mobility issues That request didn't get forwarded. They were great switching us to a first floor room with a king.

A call to BringFido from the Best Western parking lot got us a GREAT stay. After being insulted by Best Western with a $65.00 pet fee, BF called Marion and immediately we received a warm welcome of a great room and dinner recommendation with a discount. I live in The Villages, Fl and visit St Augustine, so I will definitely return.

Marion is in great location and staff (Mandi) is amazing with your furry friend. Hotel is in great location. Not this is more of motel then hotel but as long as you know that. We stop there with my buddy Ripple again soon.

Buster thinks this place is awesome! He loved the swan on the bed as we entered the room. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The location is walking distance to dog friendly places to eat and visit.

This place was the perfect spot for us and our furry travel companion. The staff was very accommodating and the room was comfortable and very clean. We would recommend this spot for anyone traveling with a dog who still wants to get out and see the town. St Augustine is a GREAT place to travel with a dog (accommodating hotels, shops, tour busses and restaurants) and the location of this hotel made it easy to enjoy our stay.

We book it mainly because of how close it was. I called to make sure they had a dog friendly room available. Not only did they upgrade us to a larger room due to our dog size but they reduced the price to offset the dog fee. The rooms were all newly renovated and easy to clean if your dog makes a mess (our bodhi tipped over his food and water) we loved how close it was for our walks and it's on the more quiet side of town so it kept him more calm during our stay at night.

We didn’t plan on stopping in St. Augustine but we are so Glad we did and had the pleasure of staying at Marion!!! It is hard to find large breed (ex specially for Bully Breeds) Hotel’s. However, this hotel was warm and inviting to my Best Friend and actually the entire town is very pet friendly! The staff Holly and Mandi were exceptionally nice and love animals!! The room was MORE than expected for a little lodge. It is within walking to all the local shops and the Fort, I would come back here anytime!!
