  Treated Oh So Well!!

  The house is amazing, the bed extra comfy, and the host and dog host are top chart. They took such good care of us!

  Exceeded expectations!

  Dan is an excellent host. Communication was perfect and we really enjoyed our conversations with him over breakfast. Location was awesome with a great park to walk our dog just across the street. The accommodations were first rate and the home-cooked breakfast was delicious. We will definitely stay here again whenever we come to St. Louis.

  Great stay

  Dan and his dog Rosie were both welcoming and made our stay very nice. The park across the street was easy convenient and perfect for 3AM walks. Dan makes a good breakfast too! Charlie and Windsor loved making a new friend in Rosie.

  Will stay there again

  Dan and his dog Rosie were very welcoming and good company. It was great for me and my 2 dogs to have the first floor of this lovely house and not just a bedroom to relax in. It’s really a B&B and Dan makes a good breakfast. The house is across the street from a beautiful park and there’s private parking behind the house.

  Just booked it again

  Benton Inn is a home away from home. Our pup Mose and Dans dog Rosie met and instantly played like old friends. The park across the street is beautiful and a wonderful place to walk. In the morning, Mose ran out the fenced in the backyard to do his business while I made coffee. Just booked it again for our travel home.

  It’s All Good!

  Dan is a great host and a true animal lover. We felt so welcomed and so did our 16 month old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. The Inn is located in a great spot across from a lovely park and a short driving distance to downtown attractions and Bar K dog park (which is fantastic!). We felt very “at home” here and highly recommended Dan and the Benton Park Inn to anyone traveling to St. Louis with their pet. There are no negatives here, it’s all good.

  Wonderful time

  All the reviews are spot on. Take a look! The host and his pooch Rosie were the perfect hosts. We have an elderly dog so the second floor location was not ideal for us. But for most, it would be a wonderful alternative to the hustle of the city with easy walks for restaurants and a lovely park and easy access to downtown.

  Loved this place

  Dan was a warm, gracious and charming host who immediately made us feel right at home, including our young baby and pup. What a cozy, homey place to spend a night on our road trip!

  OMG, best place to stay!

  What a rare find. Beautiful historic home is now a spacious B&B. Dan, the owner and host, was so welcoming and helpful, knowledgeable and calming (after our long day of the road trip). All the amenities offered, spacious well-appointed rooms, and private baths added to this experience. Perfect location for our stay, and our dog, Amber, loved the park across the street. Dan recommended several dinner options within walking distance. Great value for the price; so worth every penny. Highly recommend!!

  Perfect!

  When I booked, I didn't realize the Benton Inn was a bed and breakfast. Dan, the owner, was so kind. He was quick to recommend Bar K, where Gambit had a great time. He also has the sweetest rescue bully mix, Rosie. She and my rescue became fast friends.

  The best!

  Awesome B&B! Host was super friendly and welcoming to my dog. Great location right next to a beautiful park. The breakfast was phenomenal! Tried to book again for when I was driving back down but was all booked up (not shocked at all with how great this place is)! Host also recommended a place to take my dog Sky called Bar K which is where we stopped on the way back down and she had the time of her life!

  Wonderful stay!

  We loved our stay at Benton Park Inn. Dan was incredibly nice and welcoming. Our room was lovely and comfortable. The location is right across the street from Benton Park, which is a huge plus when you want to take the pup out for a walk. He treated our pup Hank like family, and our breakfast was delicious. We would definitely stay here again in the future!

  Great experience

  We were greeted by Dan (Rosie was keeping cool in the basement) but came up soon thereafter to greet us and romp with Blossom. We arrived early but our room was ready and very comfortable. The park across the street is very well maintained, took an easy walk to Anheuser-Busch but found out they are not dog friendly, so we ate at a pizza place nearby that Dan recommended. Breakfast was awesome, highly recommend Benton Park Inn.

  Delightful Inn and Hosts

  Cool house in a cool neighborhood across from a cool park hosted by Cool Dan and Sweet Rosie the dog. Dan's a great cook and a gracious host.

  Marvelous

  My dog and I stayed a Monday night. We were greeted not only by the innkeeper but by his friendly, enthusiastic dog. It was most welcoming! Our room was large and very comfortable, and there's a great sitting room downstairs. The breakfast was outstanding. I recommend Benton Park Inn highly!

  Charming in Every Way

  Delightful host, friendly house dog, beautiful huge park right across the street. Perfect unless you can’t climb stairs. I would love to come back and stay here to explore more of this interesting city.

  Awesome pet friendly inn

  Dan, the innkeeper, is one of the most considerate persons I have ever met. The place is clean, convenient to attractions. It is QUIET. The neighborhood is across from a very peaceful park. Restaurants within easy walking distance. Parking is safe. My anxious dog settled in quickly (Rosie is such a sweetie) and had the most peaceful night on the road ever.   So welcoming!

  Thanks to Dan (innkeeper) and Rosie (pup) for a nice overnight stay and delicious breakfast. Room was clean and comfortable. It's in a great location close to many restaurants and park across the street.

  Great Location in Historic Area!

  Beautiful and comfortable accommodations within walking distance to a few shops and restaurants and across the street from a lovely park. Close to downtown but worlds away. Very pet friendly and Dan is a most gracious host and cooks a fantastic breakfast for his guests!

  Great host & wonderful inn!

  My husband, dog & I loved our stay at Benton Park Inn, & just wish we could have stayed another night! We had a big, beautiful & comfortable room to enjoy, & the next morning Dan the innkeeper made us a delicious & filling breakfast. We enjoyed talking to him & other guests before leaving. Finally, if you like old buildings, Benton Park is a delightful neighborhood to explore!

  Very welcoming

  We had a very nice night and morning during our quick stay. Dan was kind enough to tell us where we could eat and bring our dog to sit with us inside the restaurant. We enjoyed walking in the park right across the street of the house. Dan made us a delicious breakfast before we left to continue our trip. If we are in St Louis again we will definitely stay at Benton Park Inn.

  B&B for people and dogs!

  This is the first B&B I've ever stayed at that allowed dogs. Dan the innkeeper was super friendly, helpful and accommodating, and his dog Rosie and our dog had a blast tearing through the property! He made a great breakfast in the morning. Why stay at a hotel when you can have a much better experience here?

  Friendly and Comfortable

  After a terrible experience with BringFido/Expedia re Oklahoma City Aloft property, our stay with Dan in Benton Park B&B, was a delight! So comfortable and welcoming. Definitely recommend and we will stay here again should our travels take us to St. Louis. Our dogs loved the resident pup, Rosie, and the large park across the street is great!

  Host excellent, beautiful Inn, lovely neighborhood, walkable. Less than 10 min to Gateway Arch Park. Bar K dog park has availability of guest passes; well worth it if traveling w/dog; 6 min drive from Inn.

  Great hosts, great stay

  Spent 2 nights with my husband and Irish Terrier while traveling through on a road trip back home. Dan and Rosie were lovely hosts, Dan made a great breakfast and both Dan and Rosie were great conversationalists. I recommend a stay at the Benton Park Inn!

  Super dog friendly and cozy

  This was a first time at a Bed and Breakfast and will not be my last! Owner is super friendly and accommodating. Inn was comfortable, great location (huge park across the street, walking distance to restaurants), and above all the MOST dog friendly place to stay. Rosie, owners dog was super friendly and made us feel at home. Highly recommend staying here!!

  Felt at home

  Dan was a warm and welcoming host. We had a long day of driving and arrived on the later side. Dan was there to greet me, my husband and Australian Shepherd and help us get comfortable. Offered cold water, soda or beer. Coffee and breakfast with pecan waffles, bananas foster and delicious coffee. The historic home is grand and furnished with family heirloom antiques. There is a lovely park across the street - complete with duck ponds. There is an adaptable resident rescue dog. If you want to feel at home, this is the place.

  Amazing host

  Dan is super sweet and great with dogs. My little puppy excitedly tinkled upon meeting him and Dan was very easygoing about it. He made great breakfasts and was flexible when I was running late. The inn is right in front of the park which makes for great dog walks!! There’s a little fountain with ducks and also a little playground. My puppy loved exploring.
