The staff always welcomed Beau each time they saw him and were very cordial to us, as well. Rooms were clean and bright and there was plenty of room around the hotel to walk Beau safely. We all enjoyed our stay very much!

We have previously stayed at this property and had good experiences. Dogs are common. On check-in we told the front desk we wanted to change payment methods. They said they would take care of it at check out. In the middle of the night water started leaking from the ceiling around the sprinkler at a significant rate. We took pictures and had to move everything at 4am. Initially we were offered only late checkout. When we came to checkout and asked about changing payment methods we were told our credit card had already been charged and that this couldn’t be changed. It took some Karen adjacent assertiveness before the manager made things better.

This La Quinta is new and beautiful. However, they will start charging a $75 pet fee in January 2022. I had undesirable experiences such as a woman banging on our door from housekeeping at 9 a.m. and checkout is 11 a.m. Plus, people in the halls were loud and noisy, and a child in the next room was banging on the wall. I didn't see any other dogs there except our dog, which is unusual at La Quintas.

Clean, new, hotel! Lots of grass, just make sure to use back grass for trash can as none are located out front. Great location when visiting MSU!
