Best option on the east side of Glacier

We did not receive the room we booked on Bring Fido due to the room being under renovation. We booked a queen deluxe room with a tub and we received a very run down room with a full bed and a tiny shower. We did not receive a refund for the difference between the two rooms as this was all they had available. The photos they have posted do not look anything like the room we stayed in. That being said, the woman who checked us in was very kind and they brought us a window unit AC since the AC in the room didn’t work and opening windows was not an option since there was not a screen on the windows.

    Basic but doable

So, this is an odd little place. The owner is very nice and they were willing to take two large dogs with pet fees for each. There are a few little cabins and the main building where she lives that has a few rooms. A "hallway" was built onto the original building along the front, kind of like a mud room. This was convenient since they had just had a big snowstorm, it cut down on snow in the room. All cabins and building are squished on a small lot, its not easy to park your car and I would imagine if everything was full there might not be room for all cars. The rooms are pretty dated, very old furniture, a tiny table, our room had three chairs plus the one for the table. We had two double beds which were reasonably comfortable. No AC and the heat is an old giant box heater that took some sort of gas, it lit when you turned it on and got hot fast. The closet is partially blocked by one of the beds. The bathroom is small but adequate and had good temp and pressure in the shower. The "town" is pretty small and the part this place was at was kind of depressing, boarded up buildings, unpaved roads, but there is a casino about 15 mins away. Walking the dogs means walking on the street but there is not much traffic. A small breakfast is left in your room, bottled water and OJ, yogurt, fruit, muffins. Not a bad place but if you prefer modern this is not the place for you.
