This was our 2nd time staying at the Black Swann. Very pretty bed & breakfast. The room wasn't fancy (I don't want fancy with a dog). Breakfast is always outstanding - delicious & beautiful dining room. Staff/owner gets right back to you. So many nice trails nearby.

Brought Islay here on vacation at the end of November. It was a bit cold and rainy but we had a lovely cozy stay and Islay loved the wide open space. We did a little trail that led to a dog park overlooking trains and the mill town dam. Woods everywhere and lots of hiking trails!

Room was terrific...stayed in suite in carriage house. Quite nice there too. Inn is exceptionally well appointed and Tricia, our host. was superb and so so friendly. Her son (I think) helped us with breakfast and was terrific as well. The grounds offer great spots for pets to run and play and the brick walking path to the park was a great find as well. We so enjoyed our time here and we will be back!

We had a wonderful visit at The Black Swan Inn. They were very accommodating to Watson our Westie. Great rooms and wonderful breakfast.
