Dogs are very welcome at this hotel. Everyone is very nice. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Just to clarify the dog beds were not available, luckily my dogs made due 😂

My friend and I brought our 2 dogs along with her kids to the Asbury since it’s a dog friendly hotel and the 2 dogs love each other. The hotel was so friendly to the dogs any place we went. There is a nearby dog beach where the dogs can run free without their leashes so they loved that and so many people were there with their dogs at the Asbury so we loved it and our dogs had a blast!

We had a fantastic getaway with our dog Teddy. They are the most welcoming hotels for dogs that we have every stayed at. Upon check in he was treated to snacks. Teddy also received a bandana and matching color that sported the Asbury Hotel logo. He was able to even go to the pool with us. The hotel was neat and all staff were fantastic. Local restaurants like the Robertson Ale House and Kim Marie's are an easy walking distance and will spoil your dog upon arrival.

Staff is great, and very dog friendly. Basic cable stations which meant bring your laptop for entertainment, wedding after wedding after wedding so halls a bit noisy from wedding guests, pool was closed ( found out when I got there), no outdoor area with wifi, bathroom is designed as a wet room, but shower small, and bathroom floor stays wet. Coffee great but nothing worth eating. I was told I had to walk to the diner on the other side of the building for food when I wanted room service. Expensive for what you get. Only worth staying for the pet policy.

Love The Asbury. Celebrated our fur baby's 2nd bday and we had such a great time! Staff are super friendly, we even got a goody bag from them. We will be back!

We were warmly greeted by all staff with our 55 lb mixed Pitt, Rocky, who was super excited in his first hotel! He received a treat by the front desk and the bartender by the pool. Very sweet. Staff could not have been more accommodating. We were encouraged to bring our pup to the pool. What a magical experience watching people swim in a 95 degree pool in the middle of the winter at night! We had a drink inside a heated igloo which allowed our pup the chance to decompress and still be a part of the action. Big thanks to Sean from the front desk who checked on us while we were outside to make sure Rocky was doing well. We set up Rocky’s bed in the lobby area which also afforded Rocky the chance to decompress and listen to live music. We look forward to gong back!

We spent a Saturday in Asbury Park for my husband's birthday (11/5). We brought our bully pit Myles, and he was greeted with warm smiles and so many hugs and pets by the staff! We were given a welcome doggy care package. The hotel is very close to the boardwalk which we walked the length of, and it was full of friendly dogs and their owners. Everyone is so friendly, the dogs sniff each other and keep it moving. It’s not at all chaotic. We ate dinner at Kim Marie’s (5 min walk from hotel) and we were again welcomed with open arms, and they even had a doggy food menu! We will definitely be back again!
My only negatives would be thermostat in room didn’t work but thankfully it was fall and a nice night to have window cracked, room smelt strongly of perfumes and fabric softener (little overwhelming), and there was a wedding at night, and it was so loud outside our window with music until about 1am. Then after that, rowdy guests hanging out smoking cigarettes or something til about 4 am. I would request a room away from the Main Street next time. We were in room 314. Overall 8.5/10

So many people brought their dogs here and it was simply awesome. Our medium sized pit mix was met with open arms. She was welcome at the lobby bar and the pool. They even allowed our well behaved girl alone in the room. Great spot to bring your furry friend.

Hotel staff and guests were very welcoming to my dog. The only issue we had was my dog is a bit anxious and was scared to walk through the lobby when there was a band or crowd and it’s the only way to get out. Not the hotel’s fault. Just mentioning in case you have an anxious dog that is too big to carry through the lobby.

The Asbury was the best, so generous and sweet with our 60 lb pup. At check in, they gave us milk bones and a toy for her. They also are dog friendly at the bar and everyone there was so happy to see her! We’ll def be returning.

Really loved the vibe of the hotel, staff was friendly, but rooms were definitely small for travelling with two large dogs. Big park right across the street for walking the dogs. Only a few blocks from the beach.

My wife, two pups and I spent 4th of July weekend here and LOVED it. The staff, and most guests, were dog lovers and made us feel welcome. Rooms are perfect for dogs. There is a park across the street, dog friendly Wonder Bar (Yappy Hour) is a block
away and the beach is two blocks away. The hotel itself is very cool. Great lobby bar and DJ, and a fun rooftop bar. Very diverse, welcoming crowd. Just a great place. - DenniseMar 18, 2019Very dog friendly hotel!
This hotel is perfect for your furry friend -people on other sites complained about the rooms but they are perfect for dogs; no carpet; bed low enough for the pup to get on and rest. Lobby is awesome and beach is a quick walk. There is also a small 'park' across the street for the pups to do their business. Excellent place during the offseason! I would just recommend bringing a blanket/sheet to put on the bed for the pup to lay on.
