Patch and I stayed here overnight for a work trip and then stuck around to use the library area to work during the day once my meetings were done. I was able to leave Patch in the room while I was away, and they accommodated a late check out so I didn’t have to check out early and leave him in the car during my morning meetings for 2 hours (phew!). They brought me a mini fridge for his food, and everyone there absolutely loved him, employees and guests alike. There’s no restaurant, but the hotel breakfast is great, and they serve the BEST cookies and have a bar open in the evenings. Highly recommend you grab a book and head here for a quiet cozy staycation if you can!

Had a wonderful stay at The George. Staff friendly and helpful. Nice room within walking distance of restaurants. Wine served in the afternoon and breakfast included. Dog bed and bowls provided. Will definitely stay again!

Safe Stay: The George has enhanced cleaning and safety measures in place. Masks and hand sanitizer are provided to guests, and rooms are disinfected between each stay. Social distancing measures are in place, and contactless check-in and check-out are available. Each room has a 24-hour gap period between stays, and hotel staff are required to wear masks.
