We had a great stay for three nights during Spring Break. Staff are friendly. Rooms are very spacious and clean. Fantastic views! Grounds are great and very dog friendly. Will definitely be back.

This is my favorite spot in Hood River. Clean, comfortable, quiet rooms. Beautiful view of the River. Lots of beautiful grounds for dogs. Pet waste stations are situated around the property. The staff is super friendly. I never want to leave when I stay here.

This place is great. Looks fairly modest from the outside but the rooms are very clean and comfortable and the grounds and landscaping are amazing! Plenty of nice areas to walk the dog and a beautiful partial river view. We really enjoyed reading about the history of the place as well. Friendly staff, overall great stay. We’ll definitely stay again next time we’re in Hood River!

We were met at the front desk and mentioned we had a dog and it was all ready taken care of. We were given a room with a view of the grounds and the river, and it was on the ground floor. The grounds were well maintained and had trails and room to roam. BE CAREFUL: There is quite a drop, cliff, down to the river. They do have chainlink fencing on the grounds, but if you stray away from the grounds the chainlink disappears and very little railing to keep Fido on the topside. The room was a little dated, but clean and comfortable. You could hear the freeway noise a bit also. Overall, well worth the trip.

The staff was extremely friendly and at the time of our booking the pet fee was only $10! The property had plenty of space to walk your dog with dog waste stations located throughout the property. We stayed in one of the smaller sized rooms with a very comfortable king sized bed! We would definitely stay there again!

Fozzie loved this hotel. The balcony was wonderful for bird watching and seeing what goes by on the river. Fozzie loved the big yard to play in. The staff was friendly and helpful. He also liked the fireplace. I thought the bird book and binoculars in the room were a nice touch. They also have games and books to borrow.

When we checked in on 19 May, the front desk clerk was very friendly and gave us a warm greeting. We had a room in the older section with a river view. It was clean, organized and quiet. There was a nice lawn for walking our dog with bags to pick up her land mines if needed. I will say that all of the pet friendly rooms should be tiled so that any unexpected messes can be cleaned up and sanitized instead of having a dark carpet that may have some mysteries in it. This is literally 1.5 miles from downtown Hood River and nicely located. We checked out on 22 May and the clerk was friendly, wished us safe travels and thanked us for staying there. Nice pet friendly place to stay!!

From check in to check out, everything was a breeze. The staff was super nice and the room was large, clean and cozy. Views from the room were amazing and our doggo loved the grounds. So many squirrels!

While the staff was friendly and the room clean, the combination A.C./Heater was poor. We could not regulate for a comfortable temperature and it was extremely loud.

Wonderful place to stay. The grounds are beautiful, as are the views. Checking in was a breeze. Staff was friendly and helpful, and very welcoming of the dogs. The lodge/room itself is full of little details that make for a homey/comfortable stay. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again.

This is the best place to take your dog if you are stay in Hood River. The lodge has beautiful grounds to walk your dog. Think of a wooded park and you get the idea. They charge $10 a day for our dog. We stayed in a Riverview room with a balcony. Great view of the river.
