The perfect location to walk to the Peace Center, Falls Park, or any number of excellent restaurants that are dog friendly with outdoor seating.

I have stayed at this hotel numerous times over the past several months visiting my boyfriend's family. The location is wonderful, just a short walk to Starbucks and Roost, along with other wonderful restaurants on Main St. Flying during COVID has caused me to arrive late and they have always been beyond accommodating - Leynsey and Marilyn are the absolute best. Despite having Marriott status, I will continue to stay at this hotel due to the amazing staff.

Decided to stay at this hotel on 8/15/2020 because they are pet friendly. Unfortunately it was not a good choice and I would recommend looking elsewhere. The location was great and the room was nice, but that's where the positives end.
The hotel advertises they have valet and a parking garage available. When arriving at the hotel around 9pm I was informed that somehow they had NO parking and no valet service. I can understand there being no valet right now due to the virus but NO parking for your guests?? I was given a slip and directed to go park at a different hotel or find a spot somewhere on the street, at 9pm on a busy saturday on main street which is packed with people. Because of this I had to leave my vehicle unattended in a no parking zone while we unloaded the bags and took them to the room so we would not have to walk them all the way from the other hotel we had to park at. On top of this when going to the other hotel, there were no spots available! I had to drive in circles around this crowded downtown area for a very long time before a spot finally became available. The lot for the hotel I was directed to was not even a garage, but a very dark outdoor lot.
This is absolutely unacceptable, is the hotel selling its parking to daily non-guests? How can you have zero spots available for guests who paid good money to stay at your hotel? And on top of that send them to a full, very dark, sketchy parking lot for a completely different hotel?? If i wanted this kind of downgrade I would have saved many dollars and just stayed at that hotel instead.
When it comes to the room it was very nice and had all of the amenities you would want for an extended stay and appeared clean, however the carpet was a different story. I understand this was most likely a pet room, but there were multiple dark brown stains on the carpet. For a 75 dollar pet fee you would think they could do a slightly better job trying to clean this.
I chose this hotel over the "express" style knowing I would be arriving a bit later in a crowded downtown hoping this would guarantee a smoother check-in and less hassle, unfortunately I paid extra for a sub quality experience I would expect from one of these cheaper "express" places.
