The room was clean, no smells. Big enough for small dogs, bathroom door didn’t lock. They offer complimentary breakfast and coffee all day. Super sweet staff, they all love dogs. In the parking lot they have a lot of grass for the dogs to use. Only issue is that they have carpet, I was traumatized because my dog sheds.
Good place for dogs—lots of walking to be done on the Riverwalk. Only complaint is the strangely undersupplied kitchenette. No dish soap and no paper towels, and an undersized frig. Made it hard to store my dog food overnight. Room was great otherwise
This hotel was nice and dog friendly, which can be hard to find. The staff is nice, the hotel is clean, there is a restaurant within the hotel, which was pretty good, and the pool and spa area was nice and clean. You reach the river walk right out of the "porch" off of the hotel and pool area. So nice. We walked everywhere, but the hotel is far enough away from the crowds, so it was quiet. It can be a long walk to get to the main areas of restaurants on the riverwalk, but we did not mind that.
Very comfortable accommodations, but nothing special for our pup. For us, unfortunately no breakfast included, just coffee. The walking distance to RiverWalk and Alamo is .9 miles, but through city streets. Really love the way SA keeps the area at RiverWalk safe and clean!
