      Far from great

      Very cool, historic hotel, and appreciate how seriously they treat the potential liability that comes with being dog friendly. Guests have to sign lots of forms taking responsibility for the doggo good citizen, which is great. The rooms run small and funky - comfortable temps, hot water, mildew free showers and adult sized bathroom fixtures are not guaranteed. But the location is good, staff are friendly and the elevator is reliable. Still nowhere in shouting distance for Fido to go to the bathroom, which seems like it wouldn’t be a hard fix if they actually cared. All in all, it was fine for one night, but considering how few of the local businesses are dog friendly, I wouldn’t rush back.

      cool hotel for people

      this hotel scores major cool points with me. the mgr was super friendly & informative, and there was a record player with records in one of our rooms..., but its only cool for people bc there's nowhere to let your dog outside. absolutely nowhere. I dont think a hotel can be "pet friendly" if there's nowhere for your dog to pee.
