Situated in a quiet leafy avenue of similar grand buildings yet only a short walk away from the many restaurants and bars in the centre of Cheltenham. Constructed around 1860 over an epic six-year period Cotswold Grange was formerly the salubrious country retreat for a City solicitor and still retains many fine spacious rooms with high ceilings and ornate features. The lounge room offers peace and tranquility to simply sit and read or watch TV. The comfortable hotel bar located on the ground floor has a good selection of reasonably priced drinks. There is an attractive secluded garden with an ornamental pond at the back of the hotel. The grand dining room is the finest room from the time of the original private house. Imposing features include high ceilings, ornate mouldings, and a magnificent south-facing window over three meters in height. Superb full English breakfast is freshly cooked to order and served in the dining room. Ample off-street parking is available within the hotel grounds at Cotswold Grange. 24 comfortable ensuite bedrooms comprise of 9 singles, 10 doubles, three twins, and two family rooms. Rooms have tea / coffee making facilities, TV / radio, direct-dial telephone, WiFi access, and hairdryers. Laundry and ironing facilities are available in the hotel for guest use. Inter-connecting rooms are also available.
