It is one of England's most elegant country house hotels and stands in 65 acres of landscaped gardens overlooking the River Thames. Built in 1664, it now includes a luxurious spa with a 20-metre ozone-cleaned swimming pool, technogym, saunas, steam rooms, relaxation areas, a Zen studio and treatment rooms. The 87 bedrooms are beautifully decorated and are fitted with the most modern facilities. In many ways, Danesfield House is the ideal blend of old and new. There are two dining options: the traditional Oak Room or the Mediterranean Orangery, both of which offer fine international cuisine.
