Didn’t have a “pet friendly” room for us. Convinced them to give me one. Room smelled of smoke and was barely cleaned at all.

Minutes from the historic DuPont properties in Delaware, and about 30 minutes from Philly. Rooms clean with first floor access to take the dogs out. Located on RT 202, gas stations nearby and convenient.

Lobby area is nice and the woman who works behind the desk is wonderful but the room, oh my God, was horrible!!! First, when you open the door it smells like smoke and mildew, the door was broken so it didn’t close flush to the door jamb, the deadbolt was falling off the door. The air conditioner blows directly on the bed closest to it and the room felt damp. I pulled an extra blanket out of the drawer and it smelled like mildew, it was dirty, I gagged. The fridge was dirty, the table between the beds was dirty, the remote was gross and the TV didn’t work.
There were small knats flying around the sink area and multiple house flies in the toilet and shower room. The tub was dirty, there were cigarette burn marks on the tub, mold around the caulk and dirt or dead knats on the floor. The bottom of the bathroom door was rotting and chipping off, and every mirror in the room was filthy. The chair in the room was filthy and my feet were sticking to the floor. I cannot believe this passes for a hotel!!! I would say that you get what you pay for but I think I still paid too much to stay in that slum! After an hour or so I called another hotel and left. Beware of this place.

Dirty, very DIRTY! So dirty that we decided to sleep with our clothes on, didn't even take a shower. And on top of that the room badly smells of cigarettes smoke. Even if dogs are allowed there isn't any decent spot for their needs. TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!

This hotel is tired. Toilet didn’t flush. The floor was dirty. I don’t mind sacrificing for my dog, but this was over the top.

Nice lobby but the room was pretty shabby. Burn holes in the bedspread, carpet needs an upgrade. Room wasn't ready when we arrived at 5 pm and we had to wait another 35 minutes. Noisy people outside the room during the night. Worst part - really nowhere to walk the dog! Shower was good, bed was comfortable and the front desk folks were friendly. That's why I gave it 2 bones instead of one. But I wouldn't stay there again.
